Peacock\u2019s popular reality competition series The Traitors<\/em><\/a> has been renewed for a second season.<\/p>\n The streaming service also revealed that Emmy-winning actor Alan Cumming<\/strong><\/a> is set to return as host.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Traitors is an ambitious, highly addictive and spontaneous format that keeps contestants and viewers on their toes,\u201d Corie Henson<\/strong>, EVP Entertainment Unscripted Content at NBCUniversal, said in a statement. \u201cAlan Cumming is a well-dressed genius, the producers at Studio Lambert are brilliant storytellers and the show is the perfect mix of drama and suspense to keep our Traitors and Faithfuls craving more.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe hugely enjoyed making the U.S. version of this hit format with NBC and giving Peacock\u2019s audience a highly bingeable murder mystery game full of intrigue and dramatic twists,\u201d Stephen Lambert<\/strong>, CEO of Studio Lambert, also said. \u201cThis is the game which shows how people judge each other, often leaping to false conclusions, in a way that\u2019s revealing and entertaining, and we\u2019re excited to be making a second season with Alan as together we build on the success of the first.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to the show\u2019s renewal, a season 1 reunion \u2013 hosted by Bravo\u2019s Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 will stream on Peacock on February 28.<\/p>\n The cast featured a mix of regular people and reality TV stars<\/a> including former Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr.<\/strong><\/a>, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills\u2019<\/em> Brandi Glanville<\/strong><\/a>, Survivor<\/em> alums Cirie Fields<\/strong> and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick<\/strong>, Big Brother<\/em> winners Cody Calafiore<\/strong><\/a> and Rachel Reilly<\/strong><\/a>, Below Deck\u2019s<\/em> Kate Chastain<\/strong><\/a>, Summer House<\/em> star Kyle Cooke<\/strong><\/a>, Shahs of Sunset\u2019s<\/em> Reza Farahan<\/strong> and Olympian Ryan Lochte<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The winner \u2013 SPOILER ALERT<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 Cirie, who was chosen as a traitor<\/a> at the start of the game, exclusively spoke to Us Weekly<\/em> <\/a>after the finale about her epic victory.<\/p>\n \u201cI first have to get over the shock of it for myself because it was so emotional during [filming], like, I didn\u2019t really get to celebrate it then,\u201d the New Jersey native told Us<\/em>. \u201cSo my celebratory feelings are just coming really now.
