Virgo season is upon us\u2014again. Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>\u2019s Renaissance<\/em> tour<\/a> is headed to the big screen, the Grammy winner announced early Monday following the first reports of the film\u2019s existence<\/a>. She uploaded the trailer for Renaissance: A Film by Beyonc\u00e9<\/em> alongside the caption \u201cBe careful what you ask for, \u2019cause I just might comply,\u201d quoting her song \u201cAll Up in Your Mind.\u201d<\/p>\n Released by the singer\u2019s production company Parkwood Entertainment, the film\u2019s trailer teases its reported blend of live concert footage with \u201cparts of the long-gestating visual album Renaissance<\/em> and a documentary-style account of making the record and building out the tour,\u201d as reported by Deadline<\/a>. Says Beyonc\u00e9 in the preview, \u201cWhen I am performing, I am nothing but free. My goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged.\u201d<\/p>\n At one point, Beyonc\u00e9 can be seen rehearsing alongside her daughter and current backup dancer Blue Ivy Carter<\/strong>, and fans also get a glimpse of Rumi<\/strong> and Sir<\/strong>, her twins with Jay-Z<\/strong>. \u201cTo start over, to start fresh, to create new, that\u2019s what Renaissance is about,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n The Renaissance<\/em> film will hit U.S. and U.K. theaters on December 1. Tickets start at $22 plus tax, a paltry sum in comparison to the $322 average ticket price for the tour, according to StubHub<\/a> data reported by CNBC. Plans for a movie have long been in the pipeline, as reported by Variety<\/em><\/a>, with crews having been spotted filming footage in Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s hometown of Houston<\/a> last month. Mega agency CAA<\/a> had reportedly been shopping the potential documentary to studios and streamers since September.<\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s Renaissance<\/em> tour, which beckoned celebrities<\/a> and royals alike<\/a> in a sea of silver outfits, began on May 10, 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden, and concluded last night in Kansas City, Missouri. It overlapped with Taylor Swift\u2019s<\/strong> The Eras Tour<\/em><\/a>, which becomes its own theatrical attraction on October 13. The latter film has already smashed advance ticket<\/a> sales records and caused at least five films<\/a>, including horror sequel Exorcist: Believer<\/em><\/a>, to shift dates.
