Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/a> took a note from one of her hit songs and \u201cwalked away\u201d from the stage after she suffered a hilariously awkward wardrobe malfunction<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>American Idol<\/span><\/i><\/a> alum performed at an event in Minnesota on Monday, September 25. As seen in a <\/span>viral fan video<\/span><\/a> on X (formerly known as Twitter), Kelly, 41, was about to sing her hit song \u201cCatch My Breath\u201d when she began adjusting the top of her dress \u2014 a long black gown with tiers on the skirt and a plunging neckline layered over a sheer black, long-sleeved lacy shirt. After singing the tune\u2019s opening line, Kelly looked to a bandmate and asked, \u201cAm I good?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Kelly then asked the band to \u201chold on.\u201d When the music stopped, she looked to the side and asked if she \u201cshould fix it.\u201d Then, she turned to the crowd and said with a chuckle, \u201cI think my boob\u2019s showing, hold on,\u201d and ran off the stage. \u201cYup, sure is,\u201d someone in the crowd could be heard saying.<\/span><\/p>\n Thankfully, the pop star handled her slip with grace \u2014 and her beloved sense of humor. Other fan footage showed Kelly\u2019s return to the stage, where she joked, \u201cWhat kind of show is this?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI was told you wanted a really fun show. I\u2019m so sorry,\u201d she said, laughing. \u201cI think my hair got stuck in the tape. We\u2019re good.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Kelly even joked about the size of her chest, adding, \u201cLook, they\u2019re not big enough to make noise. Which I don\u2019t mind. OK, we\u2019re just gonna keep the ladies in there. Just to keep it a family-friendly show. My bad!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n And with that, the \u201cA Moment Like This\u201d singer began performing once again. A set list from the show indicates that she performed several other hits<\/a> that night, including \u201cMiss Independent,\u201d \u201cSince U Been Gone\u201d and \u201cStronger.\u201d Fan videos from the end of the night showed Kelly apologizing for the mishap again, telling the crowd, \u201cThank you so much! I\u2019m sorry for the show. Have a great night, y\u2019all!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time Kelly has experienced a wardrobe malfunction and nearly exposed herself on stage. Back in February, she and Shania Twain<\/strong><\/a> discussed their biggest onstage mishaps during an episode of <\/span>The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/span><\/i><\/a>. Kelly revealed that once, during a quick change in the middle of a performance, her team zipped her up but forgot to make sure it was secure. This almost resulted in her going naked on stage.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI jumped around a lot on that tour, so my dress almost completely came off,\u201d she said. To make the matter even worse, Kelly was apparently \u201ccommando\u201d at the time. A ~moment like that~ is definitely unforgettable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThat would have gone real European beach real quick,\u201d Kelly quipped.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
