Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/strong> is planning to announce an independent run for president next month in Pennsylvania, according to Mediaite<\/a>. In the run-up to the kickoff, his campaign is said to be planning \u201cattack ads\u201d targeted at the Democratic National Committee, which \u201cBobby feels\u201d is \u201cchanging the rules to exclude his candidacy so an independent run is the only way to go,\u201d a campaign insider told the outlet.\u00a0<\/p>\n The idea of RFK Jr. running as an independent in the 2024 election is legitimately terrifying for a number of reasons, not the least of which being the fact that he could take votes away from Joe Biden<\/strong> and help Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2014who incited a deadly insurrection\u00a0the last time he lost\u2014get reelected. Also deeply worrying is the fact that Kennedy, among other things:<\/p>\n – Goes around saying stuff like,\u00a0\u201cThere\u2019s no vaccine that is safe and effective<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n – Is a 9\/11 conspiracy theorist<\/a><\/p>\n – Told<\/a> Vanity Fair<\/em>\u2019s Joe Hagan<\/strong> it\u2019s \u201cobvious\u201d that censorship is a \u201cgreater threat to the republic\u201d than another January 6.\u00a0\u201cYou could blow up the Capitol and we\u2019d be okay if we have a First Amendment,\u201d Kennedy claimed. \u201cWhy are we hearing about the Capitol day after day after day after day and nobody\u2019s talking about the First Amendment?\u201d<\/p>\n Last week, The New York Times<\/em> ran<\/a>\u00a0a story considering the prospect of Kennedy running as a candidate for the Libertarian Party, whose chair he met with in July.\u00a0The outlet noted that\u00a0\u201cin a general election, Democrats worry that a third-party run by Mr. Kennedy could draw votes away from Mr. Biden and help elect former President Donald J.
