If you live in or visit Texas frequently, you may have access to additional airport lounges soon. That’s if applications and permits are approved \u2014 one of which could happen this month.<\/p>\n

For context, first Chase Sapphire lounge<\/a> is open in the Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)<\/a>, with plans for nine additional lounges in the U.S. The last two of those locations were previously unknown, but it looks like those lounges will be at Dallas\/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)<\/a> and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Sapphire lounge details<\/h2>\n

A Sapphire lounge at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is being considered by the airport’s governing board, as first reported by Thrifty Traveler<\/a>. The meeting to vote on approving or denying this lease was set for Feb. 2 but has been canceled, due to inclement weather.<\/p>\n
