Daniel Craig<\/a><\/strong> debuted a striking new hairstyle on the red carpet at the second annual Albie Awards.<\/p>\n

Putting his James Bond<\/strong> era well and truly behind him, the 55-year-old unveiled a retro quiff style, swept dramatically over to one side while attending the charity event in New York City on Thursday night (28 September).<\/p>\n

The actor matched his vintage-inspired hair-do with a pair of wire-frame glasses and a dark blue double-breasted suit, finishing the look with a navy bow tie.<\/p>\n

Online, the new hairstyle was making waves. Some have drawn comparisons to his Knives Out character Benoit Blanc, with an Instagram commenter writing: \u201cGetting ready to play Benoit Blanc again, it appears.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another on X (FKA Twitter) added: \u201cClassic Benoit Blanc move.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI love his hair that shade,\u201d another on Instagram added. \u201cIt suits him\u2026 as does the blue suit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Craig was joined on the red carpet by his wife, Rachel Weisz<\/a><\/strong>, who donned a black and white floor-length gown decorated with an abstract print.<\/p>\n

The couple were among the famous faces in attendance at the Albies, organized by George<\/strong> and Amal Clooney<\/strong>\u2019s Clooney Foundation for Justice to celebrate \u201ccourageous defenders of justice who are at great risk for what they do.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event \u2013 named after Justice Albie Sachs<\/strong>, the South African anti-apartheid activist \u2013 was attended by other stars, including Emily Blunt<\/strong>, Anne Hathaway<\/strong>, Matt Damon<\/strong>, Cindy Crawford<\/strong>, and Scarlett Johansson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It was a rare public outing for Craig and Weisz, who tend to keep their marriage out of the limelight.<\/p>\n

In an interview with The Guardian<\/a><\/em> earlier this year, Weisz, 53, said she finds it easy to keep her personal life relatively private. \u201cCelebrity \u2013 it doesn\u2019t really mean anything to me,\u201d she told the paper.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it\u2019s no work at all to keep not showing up at events. It\u2019s not work at all to keep a private life. Life can be demanding, life in a family can be complicated but I don\u2019t even know what \u2018celebrity\u2019 means. I don\u2019t think of myself like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
