Kris Jenner<\/strong><\/a> is a fan of Paramount\u2019s Yellowstone<\/em><\/a> but that doesn\u2019t mean she wanted her boyfriend, Corey Gamble<\/strong><\/a>, to appear on the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so excited to watch the next episode of Yellowstone,\u201d Kris, 67, told Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> and Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> during the season 4 premiere of The Kardashians<\/em><\/a>, which started streaming on Thursday, September 28. \u201cSo they asked Corey [to be on Yellowstone. And he said no.] I told him to say no. I thought he was going to have a romantic relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Corey, 42, confirmed he would have said yes to the opportunity, adding, \u201cIf it wasn\u2019t for you, I would be a Yellowstone star.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kim, 42, and Khlo\u00e9, 39, meanwhile, pointed out that Kris would have taken a similar offer if it meant sharing an onscreen kiss with star Kevin Costner<\/strong><\/a>. According to the momager, the idea of playing the love interest to Costner\u2019s character<\/a> was a \u201chard yes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kardashian-Jenners are not the only ones who have publicly shared their love for the western drama<\/a>. Yellowstone<\/em>, which premiered in 2018, follows the Dutton family, who are the owners of the largest ranch<\/a> in Montana. The drama that stems from the ranch and the bordering Broken Rock Indian Reservation, Yellowstone National Park and developers have kept even the biggest celebrity fans on the edge<\/a> of their seats.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Ben Affleck<\/strong><\/a> discussed wife Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s unexpected love for the series.<\/p>\n

While other super-producers \u2014 Ryan Murphy and Shonda Rhimes, for example \u2014 enlist other writers and directors to work on projects bearing [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019m kind of disturbed that my wife really likes Yellowstone<\/em>. Part of me thinks that she\u2019s really drawn to the romance between Cole Hauser<\/strong><\/a> and Kelly Reilly<\/strong><\/a>,\u201d Affleck, 51, who exchanged vows with Lopez, 54, twice in 2022, said on the \u201cThe Bill Simmons Podcast\u201d in March. \u201cJen showed me a clip of her off of Instagram, the monologue she has with the kid in the car about the ways to become rich.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cAnd then she was like, \u2018I love this story of these two.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Wait a minute? With Hauser? With Cole Hauser? What do you love about it?’\u201d<\/p>\n

More recently, however, Yellowstone<\/em> has been making different headlines as Costner confirmed his exit from the series<\/a>. Paramount Network announced in May that Yellowstone<\/em> would end with the second half of season 5 \u2014 but the question of Costner\u2019s involvement remained up in the air.<\/a><\/p>\n

Amid rumors of a feud between the actor and showrunner Taylor Sheridan<\/strong>, Costner, 68, noted his plans to part ways with the character of John Dutton earlier this month. He explained in documents from his child support battle with ex Christine Baumgartner<\/strong><\/a> that he \u201cconcluded his work\u201d on Yellowstone<\/em> last year and \u201cis not involved in any future episodes\u201d of the show.<\/p>\n

Sheridan, 53, previously said he was \u201cdisappointed\u201d by Costner\u2019s decision to prematurely leave<\/a> the series. \u201cIt truncates the closure of his character,\u201d he told The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> in June. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t alter it, but it truncates it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tYellowstone is known for its over-the-top plot lines and complicated family drama, but the show\u2019s cast and crew has also been involved in plenty of offscreen controversy over the years. Since the Paramount Network series premiered in June 2018, actors along with cocreator Taylor Sheridan have fended off criticism that the show is written with [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to more documents from Costner\u2019s legal battle \u2014 which Us Weekly<\/em> obtained this month \u2014 Costner\u2019s Yellowstone<\/em> earnings will be a major loss for him<\/a> financially.<\/p>\n

\u201cYellowstone<\/em> was a complete aberration and provided Kevin with an unusually high level of income \u2014 a level he has never had in the past,\u201d the paperwork stated. \u201cYellowstone<\/em> was a once-in-a-lifetime event \u2026 going forward, his income will not reach that level \u2014 ever.\u201d<\/p>\n
