\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Gina Kirschenheiter<\/strong><\/a> is breaking her silence.<\/p>\n The 39-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County<\/em> star opened up for the first time about co-star Shannon Beador<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s DUI last week<\/a>, only weeks after Gina<\/strong> spoke about Shannon<\/strong>\u2018s alleged drinking problem,<\/a> and telling her that she should go to rehab.<\/a><\/p>\n During the latest episode of her Orange Country<\/em> podcast, Gina<\/strong> spoke out for the first time about the situation.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m happy that I didn\u2019t address this so far. I know I have to address it, right? I feel like this is a safe space. This is where I\u2019m comfortable\u2026yes, obviously\u2026the irony of it is major, but honestly, at the end of the day, I\u2019ve been thinking a lot about this, and Shannon<\/strong> and in general, I just don\u2019t have it in me. I\u2019m not going to kick someone when they\u2019re down, you know what I mean?\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been down. I know where she\u2019s at right now. It\u2019s not a good place to be, mentally, emotionally\u2026you do have this platform and this celebrity, and you make a really bad decision, and you think \u2018well, that\u2019s it for me,\u2019\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cThe first instinct is thank God, obviously, she didn\u2019t hurt herself seriously or injure anyone else. It\u2019s obviously the worst mistake you can make\u2026so I\u2019m just glad everybody\u2019s okay. But it sucks, it\u2019s hard. I feel bad for her. There\u2019s part of me \u2013 I\u2019m not going to lie to everybody and say I didn\u2019t wake up and think \u2018oh sh-t, this is like a karma.\u2019 But very quickly, I moved past that. Then I got angry about a lot of it for a minute. And now I really have settled into appropriate sympathy for the situation, and for her. I don\u2019t want to see anybody down.
