\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Russell Brand<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out.<\/p>\n The 48-year-old comedian returned to conservative video platform Rumble following multiple allegations of assault, which were revealed in a bombshell story<\/a> from Channel 4<\/em>, Sunday Times<\/em> and The Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n During his Stay Free<\/em> series return, Russell<\/strong> questioned whether he was being \u201csilenced\u201d by \u201clegacy media,\u201d as he\u2019s denied all the allegations.<\/p>\n On his Rumble show, Russell <\/strong>also said it was \u201chard for me to be objective\u201d about the mainstream media \u201cgiven events of the last week,\u201d but thanked his followers for questioning the information they had received.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The show streamed soon after the Metropolitan Police announced an investigation into allegations of sexual offenses in London and elsewhere in the United Kingdom, via Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n YouTube also demonetized Russell<\/strong>\u2018s channel<\/a> amid the allegations.<\/p>\n \u201cWe continue to encourage anyone who believes they may have been a victim of a sexual offence, no matter how long ago it was, to contact us,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n He did not address the allegations directly on his Rumble stream, but called out Trusted News Initiative, a partnership between the BBC and major publications including The Washington Post<\/em>, to fight against disinformation.<\/p>\n \u201cIt appears that apparently independent or at least separate news organizations are collaborating \u2014 and I hesitate to use this word \u2014 conspiring to control global news narratives in some of the most important stories in the world,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The stream was watched by up to 86,000 people at one point, as he interviewed stand-up comedian Jimmy Dore<\/strong> and thanked him for being a guest on the show. <\/p>\n \u201cIt really lifts my spirit at a time where I\u2019m plainly needed it, and I can\u2019t tell you how grateful I am to you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Elon Musk<\/strong><\/a> expressed disappointment with Russell<\/strong>, but not for the allegations.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
