\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n The truth behind Jennifer Aniston<\/strong><\/a> almost being cast in NCIS<\/em><\/strong><\/a> seems to finally be out.<\/p>\n In the oral history of the hit CBS procedural series from The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em>, the show\u2019s creators, casting directors, former network heads, and more came together to share secrets from the show that fans might not have known \u2013 and one of them was about Jennifer<\/strong>\u2018s interest in the show.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n According to a rumored story, which took off years ago and hit a high during the pandemic, it was said that Jennifer <\/strong>was interested in the role of Caitlin Todd.<\/p>\n Apparently, Jennifer <\/strong>was looking at the script for the show during the final season of Friends<\/em>, and the filming schedules just didn\u2019t work out.<\/p>\n Sasha Alexander<\/strong><\/a> eventually got the role, departing the series just two seasons in because of a demanding work schedule.<\/a><\/p>\n So, was Jennifer<\/strong> really in the running for the part?<\/p>\n According to Charles Floyd Johnson<\/strong>, an executive producer for both NCIS <\/em>and JAG<\/em>, yes.<\/p>\n \u201cI think Jennifer Aniston was available at the time, and her name was floated,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n However, NCIS <\/em>casting director Susan Bluestein<\/strong>, didn\u2019t think she actually was.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t remember ever offering it to Jennifer Aniston,\u201d she shared.
