Savannah Chrisley<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s ex-fianc\u00e9, Nic Kerdiles<\/a>, died on Saturday, September 23, as a result of a fatal motorcycle accident, according to Nashville police who spoke to TMZ<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Nic\u2019s crash occurred in the early hours of Saturday in Nashville, Tennessee, after he allegedly ran a stop sign and stuck a BMW with his bike, according to TMZ<\/em>. The late real estate agent, 29, posted a photo of himself via Instagram Stories on his bike just hours before his death, writing, \u201cNight Rider.\u201d<\/p>\n Savannah and Nic went public with their relationship in January 2018 after the Chrisley Knows Best<\/em><\/a> star slid in his Instagram DMs. \u201cI was scrolling through Instagram one day and then went over to the activity page and a girl I follow liked one of [Nic\u2019s] pics and I was like, \u2018Oh, dang \u2026 who\u2019s that!\u2019\u201d she previously explained via Instagram. \u201cI then proceeded to take my shot and send him a message \u2026 Thankfully he responded and then it was history LOL! The end.\u201d<\/p>\n The former hockey player got down on one knee and proposed to Savannah in April 2019 but they were \u201ctaking their time\u201d on wedding planning<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re definitely planning but, at the same time, we have a lifetime so we don\u2019t have to rush,\u201d Savannah exclusively told Life & Style<\/em> that August.<\/p>\n As the pair prepared to walk down the aisle, Savannah announced she and Nic called off their engagement<\/a> in June 2020, but were still \u201cdating.\u201d<\/p>\n Savannah\u2019s father, Todd Chrisley<\/strong><\/a>, exclusively told Life & Style<\/em> that the former couple went to him for support as they were navigating through their relationship<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a decision that they made and they came to me directly and said, \u2018Daddy stop the planning of this wedding right now. We\u2019ve got some things we\u2019ve got to work out and we\u2019re committed to working those things out, but right now we need to stop the engagement, go back to dating and figure out what is best for us,\u2019\u201d Todd told Life & Style<\/em> in August 2020. \u201cAnd that\u2019s what they\u2019ve done.\u201d<\/p>\n One month later, the \u201cUnlocked with Savannah Chrisley\u201d podcast host announced she and Nic split.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s no hatred between the two of us \u2026 and in all honesty \u2026 that makes saying goodbye even harder. We have nothing but love, respect and admiration for one another, but it\u2019s time for us to move forward individually,\u201d she wrote via Instagram at the time.<\/p>\n That being said, Savannah updated Life & Style<\/em> on her dating life in August 2021, confirming she and Nic were \u201ctogether\u201d and \u201cfiguring things out<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Although it\u2019s unclear when they called it quits for good, Savannah stood by Nic\u2019s side after his suicide attempt<\/a> in February 2022. The former athlete mixed alcohol with medication, leading him to black out. His friend Chad saved his life after showing up at his house to give him a haircut.<\/p>\n \u201cIf he wasn\u2019t there, I don\u2019t know if I would still be here today to be completely honest. I had a gun by me, and I don\u2019t know where I was at in my mental state, but between the depression, anxiety, the COVID effects, the medication, the alcohol I did something that I never thought I would ever do,\u201d Nic explained via Instagram at the time.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s OK not to be OK,\u201d Savannah said in response to the incident adding, \u201cThat\u2019s something I feel like I\u2019ve told Nic for a little while now \u2026 it\u2019s OK to talk about your feelings, it\u2019s OK to ask for help.\u201d<\/p>\n
