Noel made the remarks despite spending years hitting out at jazz as \u201cf****** nonsense\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nHe said in 2015: \u201cIf you\u2019ve never been to a jazz club, this is what happens at a jazz club \u2013 a jazz club is like four guys on stage enjoying themselves more than the 50 people in the audience. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat\u2019s what it is. They\u2019re all playing a different song, all at the same time, in different tempos, in different keys, and they call it jazz. It\u2019s f****** nonsense.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nIn a separate interview Noel added: \u201cI\u2019ve got a broad taste in music. I\u2019m still struggling with jazz. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI mean, what is it all about? Four guys on stage enjoying themselves more than anybody else in the audience, all playing the wrong notes at the same time \u2013 \u2018But that\u2019s jazz.\u2019 Alright, is that what they\u2019re calling it now? \u2018Cuz it used to be called s*** when I was growing up.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nNoel also told Matt who his health and diet have been on his mind. <\/p>\n
\nThe dad-of-three High Flying Birds frontman, who confirmed in January he was splitting from his wife of 12 years Sara MacDonald, 51, said: \u201cIt was a couple of years ago I ran a mile. I need to get back in the gym. When was the last time I ran a mile in the streets? Has anyone ever done that ever?\u201d <\/p>\n
\nHe added he has also been eating junk food including Fig Roll biscuits and Bounty bars, as well as boxes of Feast and Nobbly Bobbly ice lollies. <\/p>\n
\nNoel confessed: \u201cThere\u2019s a thing in Waitrose called the Nobbly Bobbly \u2013 the Nobbly Bobblys are good, it\u2019s like a kids\u2019 lolly. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy kids were having them and I was like, \u2018What the f*** are they?\u2019 I had a bite of one and I was like, \u2018F****** hell, that\u2019s a taste sensation.\u2019 The fig rolls are gone\u2026 I live in the moment. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cLast week I got a box of Feasts, and they\u2019re not the same as I remember them in show. They seem to have been on a vegan diet, in the sense that they are very slim now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
