Shep Rose<\/strong><\/a> broke his silence about Austen Kroll<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s close connection with his ex-girlfriend Taylor Ann Green <\/strong><\/a>\u2014 and he\u2019s not happy about their \u201csleepover.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m pretty evolved, man, but I think it would be really f\u2014ked up<\/a> if Austen slept with her,\u201d Shep, 43, confessed during the Thursday, September 21, episode of Southern Charm<\/em><\/a>. \u201cAusten, f\u2014king Austen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Minutes earlier, season 9 newcomer Jarrett \u201cJT\u201d Thomas<\/strong> dropped a bombshell on Shep and pal Craig Conover<\/strong><\/a> when he revealed that Austen, 36, recently had a \u201csleepover\u201d with Shep\u2019s ex Taylor, 28. (Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in July 2022 that Shep and Taylor called it quits<\/a> after two years.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI was downstairs. I thought that she left. Come to find out, she was in the guest room,\u201d Austen explained to the group about the drama, which took place in earlier this year. \u201cI woke up the next day and she walks into my room, like, \u2018Hey!\u2019 I was like, \u2018Ah, I didn\u2019t know you f\u2014king were here.\u2019 She was like, \u2018Yeah, I got drunk.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSouthern Charm got messy at the end of season 8 \u2014 and when season 9 premiered on Thursday, September 14, some of the cast was still at odds. OG star Shep Rose\u2019s relationship drama with ex Taylor Ann Green was front and center during the season 8 reunion, which aired in October 2022, after she [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

JT noted that Austen and Taylor\u2019s relationship<\/a> is \u201ca little gray\u201d and \u201cmurky,\u201d to which Shep agreed, saying, \u201cI do feel that way. But I don\u2019t have a claim over anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Austen insisted that he feels like \u201ca protective brother\u201d<\/a> when it comes to Taylor. \u201cThere are friends in my life where I could share a bed with, and things don\u2019t happen. And I kind of feel that way about Taylor,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

While Austen denied \u2014 on multiple occasions \u2014 that he never kissed Taylor, Craig, 34, wasn\u2019t convinced<\/a>. \u201cHe looked down and to the left when he said that,\u201d Craig told Shep at the bar, before explaining to the cameras, \u201cYou only have to watch a handful of spy movies to know if you look down and to the left that means you\u2019re lying.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cast of Southern Charm has been entertaining Bravo fans for more than five years, but sometimes, their offscreen scandals and controversies overshadow their onscreen antics. Southern Charm, which originally starred Thomas Ravenel, Shep Rose, Cameran Eubanks, Craig Conover, Whitney Sudler-Smith and Jenna King, premiered on Bravo in March [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Shep initially said he \u201cbelieved\u201d Austen\u2019s claims that he never crossed the line with Taylor, but after the boys arrived at a second bar, he changed his tune. \u201cI didn\u2019t know about [her] spend[ing] the night. Yeah, it does [bother me],\u201d Shep told Craig.<\/p>\n

Although Shep admitted that it\u2019s Taylor\u2019s \u201cchoice\u201d who she dates and spends time with, he called out Austen for not telling him about the sleepover. \u201cIf something would have transpired then I would have had a conversation with you,\u201d Austen claimed.<\/p>\n

Shep questioned, \u201cBut a one-night stand you wouldn\u2019t have said s\u2014t?\u201d to which Austen replied, \u201cAt that point to say something to someone is hurtful. But that\u2019s not what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beginning with season 1, which premiered in 2014, OG stars Craig Conover, Shep Rose and Kathryn Dennis let fans see the good, the bad and the messy parts of their romantic relationships. As the night progressed, Shep confided in Craig about how much it bothered him that Austen was getting closer to Taylor<\/a>. \u201cI go 50\/50 on if something\u2019s happened between them,\u201d Shep confessed. \u201cI would not be surprised if they both looked at each other [and say], \u2018Let\u2019s just go for it and no one will ever know.\u2019 I think it\u2019s f\u2014ked up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Austen and Taylor\u2019s rumored hookup first made headlines in March. When the season 9 trailer dropped in August, Austen hinted that \u201csomething happened\u201d with Taylor<\/a>, but she claimed in the clip that she \u201cnever\u201d had sex with him.<\/p>\n
