The \u2018Let You Love Me\u2019 singer, 43, who married the Oscar-winning \u2018Jojo Rabbit\u2019 director, 48, in August 2022 after they met a year earlier, blushed as she paid tribute to his bedroom skills during an appearance on \u2018Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen\u2019.<\/p>\n
When Andy, 55, asked her to describe the \u201caura\u201d of her famous friends pals, she was left stumped when it came to her director beau, and blurted out: \u201cJust… just… sex god!\u201d<\/p>\n
Rita first met New Zealander Taika at a barbecue he hosted in 2018 and they later began dating in 2021 when they were both filming in Australia.<\/p>\n
Rita asked him to marry her while they were on holiday in Palm Springs in the summer of 2022 and they got married a few weeks later on 4 August, with the singer wearing two Tom Ford gowns and partied the night away with an Elvis Presley impersonator.<\/p>\n
\nShe revealed she wore her mum\u2019s pearls to her big day and was walked down the aisle by her sister Elena.<\/p>\n
\nRita recently admitted she settled down after being hit by a \u201cquarter life crisis\u201d aged 25.<\/p>\n
\nThe \u2018Praising You\u2019 singer said she has used dating in the past to feel less lonely before she was struck by a \u201cpanic attack\u201d while waiting to meet Prince Charles.<\/p>\n
\nRita \u2013 whose exes have included Calvin Harris, 39, who has just married his TV presenter girlfriend Vick Hope, 33, and actor Andrew Garfield \u2013 told the \u2018Diary of a CEO\u2019 podcast: \u201cMy twenties felt like I was kind of alone, so I was looking for things in the wrong places.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWith love, sometimes it wouldn’t be good for me and people would tell me and I wouldn\u2019t listen.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was eating really bad and I was drinking.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRita added about having her first anxiety attack at a Prince\u2019s Trust event in 2016 while she was waiting in a line to meet the then-Prince Charles: \u201cI went into that bathroom and my hands were tingling and I was having the craziest panic attack. That was the first time, when I was 25.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI thought my legs were going to give way, I didn\u2019t know what was going on. I\u2019d met our now-King before, I was performing that day as well, I don\u2019t know what happened.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI went out and stood in that line. I met Charles and I was just not there.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRita has also recently been opening up in interviews about how she feels content since getting married \u2013 and admitted she wrote her new track hungover the day after her wedding.<\/p>\n
\nShe told Capital Breakfast when asked if her \u2018You and I\u2019 love song was written the day following her nuptials: \u201cYes, I was very hungover\u2026 the producer that I wanted to work with was only available the day after I got married.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd I was thinking, \u2018Ahh, I can\u2019t cancel it.\u2019 And so I walked in. I said, \u2018Listen, I just got married and I\u2019m really hungover. I don\u2019t know how this is gonna go down. But I don\u2019t want to miss this session. So let\u2019s do it.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd he was like, \u2018Okay, well, let’s just sing about you getting married.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI said, \u2018Alright, cool, let\u2019s write an ultimate wedding song. And actually, that’s my favourite song on the album.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
