Chad Michael Murray<\/strong><\/a> and wife Sarah Roemer<\/strong><\/a> recently celebrated their anniversary \u2014 but all did not go as planned.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo yesterday was my wife and I\u2019s anniversary. Magic, magic, magic. However, the day was a total disaster,\u201d Murray, 42, said in an Instagram video <\/a>on Wednesday, September 20. \u201cYou ever have one of those days where no matter what you do you just, you\u2019re just incapable. No matter what you try to accomplish \u2014 you got all these goals, all these things \u2014 the trials and tribulations build up in the day and the next thing you know you\u2019ve miserably failed at all the tasks you set out to accomplish?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Murray and Roemer, 39 \u2014 who tied the knot in January 2015 \u2014 welcomed their third child<\/a> last month. The couple, who also share an 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter, are finding that romance while parenting three children isn\u2019t always easy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGetting pooped on by a baby? Boom, done. You need extra dog walks in the day? Boom, done. You wanna spill the bottle even though you needed it to go out to get stuff done? Boom, done. Extra heavy traffic on a normal day? Boom, traffic,\u201d Murray continued, listing things that went awry. \u201cBut you know what? Gotta follow it with this. All of these things may have taken place, but I wouldn\u2019t rather have spent that time with anyone other than my wife.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Murray ended his video with a sweet shoutout to Roemer: \u201cLove you, mama.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The One Tree Hill<\/em><\/a> alum confirmed in July that he and Roemer were expecting baby No. 3. He seemingly teased the sex of the child a week later with the use of a \u201cshe\u201d pronoun in a social media post. \u201cWe travel this world as a little wolf pack \u2014 this baby\u2019s been everywhere already and she\u2019s not even on the outside yet,\u201d he wrote via Instagram at the time.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The following month, Roemer revealed that she gave birth<\/a>. \u201cOur baby girl arrived last week with a heart on her ankle. We are so in love,\u201d she wrote alongside an Instagram photo of the newborn\u2019s feet and stomach. \u201cSoaking up all the baby squishy moments that go by all too fast.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Murray and Roemer met in 2014 while filming the Crackle TV series\u00a0<\/span>Chosen<\/span><\/em>\u00a0together. After secretly tying the knot one year later, Murray\u2019s rep told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em>\u00a0that the pair were \u201cextremely happy and excited and enjoying their life together\u201d following their incognito nuptials.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a romantic. I\u2019m a family guy. I want that core,\u201d Murray told\u00a0E! News<\/em>\u00a0in January 2015. \u201cI tend to keep everything quiet. I love my life. That\u2019s the part I keep for myself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The two actors welcomed their son and daughter<\/a> in May 2015 and March 2017, respectively, with their third child arriving in August 2023. The twosome have not publicly disclosed their children\u2019s names and don\u2019t show the little ones\u2019 faces on social media, but Murray often publicly gushes over the love he has for his wife.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
