Nicki Minaj’s registered sex offender husband, Kenneth Petty, has been sentenced by a federal judge in Los Angeles to serve house arrest after violating the terms of his three-year probation, according to a court order obtained by Meghann Thee Reporter.<\/p>\n
According to the document filed on Wednesday, Petty was recorded on video<\/a> \u201cmaking threatening remarks towards a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.\u201d Meghann Cuniff claimed on Twitter that the \u201cindividual is Offset, Cardi B\u2019s husband.\u201d<\/p>\n
The filing states that Petty\u2019s probation officer \u201cbelieves placement in the Location Monitoring Program will effectively allow for closer monitoring of Mr. Petty\u2019s activities, limit his movements, provide a sanction for his non-compliance, and hopefully encourage him to reflect upon and reevaluate his current status in the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
Petty agreed to the modification terms and waived a personal appearance before the court. Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald ordered Petty to serve up to 120 days of house arrest.<\/p>\n
Petty was sentenced to three years probation in July 2022 after pleading guilty to failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California in 2020.<\/p>\n
