Arlo is adding a new gadget to its smart home security lineup that should make it easier to disarm its Arlo Home Security system<\/a> without digging through the company\u2019s companion app or using its keypad once you\u2019re in the house. The press release<\/a> for Arlo\u2019s new Essential product series<\/a> \u2014 which includes a new video doorbell, outdoor camera, indoor camera, and XL security camera \u2014 mentions an \u201cArlo Security Tag\u201d that can be held against the new doorbell itself to swiftly disarm the company\u2019s security system<\/a> when the little fob launches in \u201cQ4 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n When asked for comment about the product, Arlo spokesperson Hannah Block said that the Arlo Security Tag will be the \u201cfirst NFC Touchless Disarm device,\u201d and that further details would be released closer to the tag\u2019s launch date later this year.
