\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Julie Chen Moonves<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about her fallout from former friend Leah Remini<\/strong><\/a> and what led to their reconciliation.<\/p>\n The television personalities were two of the original co-hosts on the CBS daytime talk show The Talk<\/em>, but Leah<\/strong> left after just one season and it was allegedly because of Julie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Julie<\/strong> has revealed the story behind Leah<\/strong>\u2018s exit in her new audio memoir But First, God<\/em>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cA couple of my cohosts, while I was away, went to the network and said, \u2018We can\u2019t work with Julie<\/strong> anymore. She\u2019s too uptight. She\u2019s not one of us. If she stays, we go.\u2019 And they ended up leaving and I ended up staying,\u201d Julie<\/strong> said in the memoir.<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cBut what was so hurtful and challenging about this time was that one of the people who left was someone who I became like overnight best friends with after working on The Talk<\/em>. And that was Leah Remini<\/strong>. We were buddies. We were, like, going on vacation together, and when she went to the network with this request, I felt betrayed.\u201d<\/p>\n Julie <\/strong>reconciled with Leah<\/strong> many years later after running into her husband at a party and asking for her phone number.<\/p>\n She said, \u201cIf I didn\u2019t have Jesus in my life at that point, I wouldn\u2019t have gone out of my way to hunt him down and say hello. I know God says to forgive. So I called her, she answered. We laughed. We buried the hatchet. And today we\u2019re probably closer than ever. Leah did try to apologize to me a year after our friendship blew up, but I was too hard-hearted to accept it. Without faith in my life, I didn\u2019t understand the importance of forgiveness, but the Bible tells us very clearly to forgive one another.\u201d<\/p>\n In the book, Julie<\/strong> claims that she was forced out of The Talk<\/em><\/a> by people at CBS. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
