Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/strong> is beloved by Milwaukee Bucks fans, but when he\u2019s off the court<\/a>, only one woman matters: his fianc\u00e9e, Mariah Riddlesprigger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The NBA star and the Rice University alum started dating in the mid-2010s<\/a> after Antetokounmpo was drafted by the Bucks. The duo have since kept their relationship relatively private, but they occasionally give fans glimpses of their life together via social media.<\/p>\n In June 2022, the power forward shared a few snaps from his family\u2019s annual trip<\/a> to his native Greece. His parents, Charles<\/strong> and Veronica Antetokounmpo<\/strong>, immigrated to Europe from their home country of Nigeria three years before Giannis\u2019 birth.<\/p>\n \u201cOur annual Akropolis visit\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\uddf7\ud83d\udd25,\u201d the NBA All-Star wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of himself showing his and Riddlesprigger\u2019s two sons the sights. The couple welcomed Liam in February 2020<\/a> and Maverick in August 2021.<\/p>\n Giannis was in the delivery room with his partner both times she gave birth, and both times he burst into tears upon seeing his sons\u2019 faces. \u201cI thought maybe it was because [Liam] was my first one,\u201d the athlete told GQ<\/em><\/a> in November 2021, explaining that he was surprised when he also cried when Maverick arrived. \u201cSeeing what the body has to go through in order to bring this beautiful, sweet thing into the world, it\u2019s insane.\u201d<\/p>\n Riddlesprigger, for her part, has said that she loves getting to spend time in Greece with her beau and their kids. \u201cThe greatest thing about Greece is that I\u2019ve got to visit the places and meet the people that are a part of Giannis\u2019 story!\u201d she wrote via Instagram in December 2020. \u201cLearning something new about him with each place we visit and person we meet.\u201d<\/p>\n The Sincerely, Mariah founder often supports Giannis at his basketball games, but before their romance, she cheered for a different team: the Los Angeles Lakers.<\/p>\n \u201cAside from the Bucks, what is your favorite team?\u201d asked one fan during an Instagram Live with the couple in March 2020. \u201cI was a Lakers fan growing up,\u201d Riddlesprigger replied. When her boyfriend reacted with shock, she added, \u201cI said, \u2018Growing up!’\u201d<\/p>\n The 2021 MVP joked that the Live couldn\u2019t go on after his girlfriend\u2019s unspeakable treachery. \u201cI gotta stop the Live now,\u201d he quipped. \u201cOh, hell no!\u201d<\/p>\n
