Bachelor Nation<\/a>\u2019s Michael Allio<\/strong><\/a> finally confirmed his split from Danielle Maltby<\/strong><\/a> after months of speculation from fans that the <\/span>Bachelor in Paradise<\/span><\/i><\/a> season 8 couple had ended their relationship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Michael, 39, revealed the news on Jason Tartick<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s <\/span>\u201cTrading Secrets\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a> on Monday, September 18. \u201cI guess I\u2019ll just come out with it. We\u2019re not together anymore,\u201d he said of his relationship with Danielle, 37, whom he dated for a year. \u201cIt\u2019s not what we planned. We both threw a lot into this relationship and it\u2019s really awful when it doesn\u2019t work out.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Michael went on to say that the \u201clove is there\u201d between him and Danielle, but they\u2019re \u201cnot necessarily compatible.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou mourn the loss, not of just that person and that friend in your life, but also the future that you had envisioned,\u201d the reality star continued. \u201cAnd it\u2019s to no fault of hers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The Bachelorette<\/span><\/i> alum also confirmed there\u2019s no bad blood between him and his ex, explaining that he has \u201cso much admiration\u201d for Danielle after she \u201cpoured everything\u201d into their relationship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201c\u200b\u200bYeah, and I guess that\u2019s it, you know right now,\u201d Michael concluded. \u201cWe\u2019re still you know working through some things and trying to stay close. Yeah, but yeah last couple months have been really tough. \u2026 Starting over again, it is always frightening. It\u2019s really frightening, but it\u2019s a part of it. I know that time will heal because I\u2019ve felt that before, but it doesn\u2019t make it any less difficult.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Fans first began to wonder if Michael and Danielle\u2019s relationship was on the rocks over the summer. Though they hadn\u2019t <\/span>hinted at a breakup<\/span><\/a>, the couple stopped posting each other on social media in June. Danielle\u2019s last post about Michael, who welcomed a son named James with his late wife Laura in 2016, was a Father\u2019s Day tribute on June 18.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHappy Father\u2019s Day to this freaking studley man- good grief. You literally do it all and don\u2019t get or take enough credit for the incredibly witty, cute, yellow loving, smart, silly, crafty, un-marcusy human you are shaping. Every kid deserves a dad like you @michael_alliol4 Love you big time,\u201d she wrote on Instagram.<\/span><\/p>\n Danielle later deleted all photos of Michael<\/a> from her account in September.<\/span><\/p>\n Though Michael did not directly confirm their split at the time, he did address the speculation on the August 3 episode of the \u201cShe\u2019s All Bach\u201d podcast.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll say this. Being in a public relationship, it isn\u2019t fun. Danielle and I, like, both agree that the only people that should be in our relationship are us two. So we think just the healthiest way to have a relationship is to keep it private,\u201d he said, noting that he and Danielle \u201cboth love each other, like, very much.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Michael and Danielle met on <\/span>Bachelor in Paradise<\/span><\/i><\/a> season<\/a> 8, which was filmed in summer 2022. They connected on the show and ultimately decided in the season finale that they wanted to continue their romance off-camera. At the <\/span>BiP<\/span><\/i> reunion in November 2022, Michael told Danielle he loved her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMeeting Danielle changed my life and everything we\u2019ve been doing since then has been getting better and better,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cI\u2019ve only said I love you to one person in my life, but I love you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
