On the eve of the Tuesday, September 12 MTV Video Music Awards, singer\u00a0Bebe Rexha<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0revealed she\u2019s considering skipping the event due to \u201canxiety\u201d over how she\u2019s feeling about her weight.<\/p>\n \u201cI am so anxious and stressed about going on the red carpet and, I guess, people talking about my weight<\/a> because I\u2019m not really loving myself right now. I\u2019m not really feeling like the bad bitch that I usually am,\u201d Bebe, 34, told fans in a Monday, September 11 TikTok video<\/a>, while noting she felt \u201cgrateful and blessed to be invited\u201d to the event.<\/p>\n \u201cI know that the criticism comes with the territory, so I am all good with that,\u201d she continued, adding, \u201cI mean, sometimes it does get to me. I am human. But I wanted just to talk about this because I meet a lot of people and a lot of times they\u2019ll be like, \u2018Oh my god, I love how you\u2019re all about positivity and confident.\u2019 Let me tell you, right now, I\u2019m not feeling so confident,\u201d Bebe confessed.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know if I\u2019m going to go tomorrow. I do have an outfit that is cute. You are you and will slay no matter the way!\u201d<\/p>\n Bebe\u2019s anxiety comes after she and boyfriend of three years, Keyan Safyari<\/strong>, split in July<\/a> after she shared alleged texts from him about her weight gain<\/a> that seemingly referenced a prior conversation.<\/p>\n \u201cI never said you weren\u2019t beautiful and I never said I didn\u2019t love you. In fact I said how beautiful you are and how much I loved you,\u201d read a July 16 Instagram Stories message. It continued, \u201cBut I always said I would be honest with you and your face was changing so I told you it was \u2026 That was the conversation we were having and you asked.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBecause I care, would you rather I lied to you? You gained 35 pounds<\/a> obviously you gained weight and your face changes? Should I just pretend it didn\u2019t happen and that it\u2019s ok?
