\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n The fate of Russell Brand<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s book deal is uncertain.<\/p>\n Bluebird, an imprint of U.K. book company Pan Macmillan, confirmed it will pause all future publishing with the 48-year-old comedian following multiple allegations of rape and sexual assault.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThese are very serious allegations and in the light of them, Bluebird has taken the decision to pause all future publishing with Russell Brand<\/strong>,\u201d Bluebird said in a statement reported by The Bookseller<\/em>, via THR<\/a>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Russell<\/strong> has published books with Bluebird since 2017, including Recovery: Freedom from our Addictions <\/em>and Mentors: How to Help and Be Helped<\/em>. <\/p>\n Recovery: The Workbook<\/em> was set to be published this December. <\/p>\n Previously, he published My Booky Wook<\/em>, his bestselling autobiography, with Hodder & Stoughton in 2007, and Revolution<\/em>, about politics, with Random House (Century in the U.K.) in 2014.<\/p>\n Literary and talent agency Tavistock Wood has also said it has \u201cterminated all professional ties\u201d to Russell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n According to The Times<\/em>, one of the accusers approached his agent at Tavistock Wood in 2020 with her allegations and got a \u201cvery aggressive\u201d letter from Russell<\/strong>\u2019s lawyers in response. After being contacted by The Times<\/em> as part of its investigation, Tavistock Wood cut ties.<\/p>\n \u201cRussell Brand<\/strong> categorically and vehemently denied the allegation made in 2020, but we now believe we were horribly misled by him. TW has terminated all professional ties to Brand,\u201d they said in a statement.<\/p>\n THR<\/em> also reports that U.K. women\u2019s charity Trevi, which helps women affected by violence and abuse, also ended its association with Russell<\/strong>, having announced last year that it would be working with him and his Stay Free Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n Katy Perry<\/strong>\u2018s old comments about ex Russell Brand<\/strong> are now making headlines again.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
