Amy Schumer<\/strong><\/a> has proved she\u2019s not very good at apologies after posting an Instagram photo of Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a> while seemingly calling her a robot<\/a> in a since deleted post. The comedian shared a new post apologizing to the Oscar winner despite saying she was an \u201calien\u201d while appearing to shame Ashton Kutcher<\/strong><\/a> and Mila Kunis<\/strong><\/a> for writing a letter to the court supporting friend and convicted rapist<\/a> Danny Masterson<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to apologize to all the people I hurt posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien,\u201d Amy, 42, wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post on Monday, September 11. Two days prior, she posted a photo of the Big Little Lies<\/em><\/a> star, 56, watching the U.S Open women\u2019s final match intently while sitting up straight in her seat, writing in the caption, \u201cThis how human sit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n In her latest post, Amy continued, \u201cI will be asking the cast of \u2018That \u201970s Show\u2019 to write letters advocating for my forgiveness\u201d along with the hashtag \u201ctaking time to heal.\u201d It appeared to be in reference to Ashton, 45, and Mila, 40, writing character letters in support of Masterson, 47, to a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ahead of their former That \u201970s Show<\/em><\/a> costar being sentenced to 30 years in prison.<\/p>\n In his letter, Ashton called Masterson \u201ckind, courteous, and hard working,\u201d while stating,\u00a0\u201cAs a role model, Danny has consistently been an excellent one. He has always treated people with decency, equality, and generosity.\u201d<\/p>\n Mila wrote about Masterson\u2019s \u201cinnate goodness,\u201d and how he has \u201cproven to be an amazing friend, confidant, and, above all, an outstanding older brother figure to me.\u201d The couple later apologized in a Sunday, September 10 Instagram video<\/a>, where Ashton said, \u201cWe are aware of the pain that has been caused by the character letters that we wrote on behalf of Danny Masterson,\u201d as Mila stated the couple has \u201chistorically\u201d supported victims and \u201cwill continue to do so in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n Amy was slammed by fans for her post about Nicole as they descended on the comments section of a subsequent post showing the U.S. Open women\u2019s winner Coco Gauff<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cMaybe classless Shumer can learn from Coco instead of spewing hate at an elegant classy woman,\u201d one follower commented as another person asked Amy, \u201cWhy are you so f\u2013king mean? Get help.\u201d A user echoed the sentiment, writing, \u201cMean girl, bully, Amy shame on you!!!\u201d while another poser added,\u00a0\u201cLift one woman up just to tear another down \u2026 bully masking as a comedian.\u201d<\/p>\n The irony of Amy dissing the way Nicole looked comes after she\u2019s repeatedly admitted to having struggles with self-esteem over her appearance<\/a>. While discussing her 2018 film\u00a0I Feel Pretty,<\/em>\u00a0Amy told\u00a0Vulture<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0\u201cThere\u2019s been a lot of projection. I heard a lot of, \u2018She doesn\u2019t have a right to feel bad about herself because she looks however she looks.\u2019 But first off, it\u2019s not about an ugly troll becoming beautiful, it\u2019s about a woman who has low self-esteem finding some,\u201d she explained, adding, \u201cEveryone\u2019s got a right to feel that feeling, regardless of their appearance. We all struggle with self-esteem. I certainly have \u2026 it\u2019s not our place to say who should be allowed to have low self-esteem.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
