Robyn Brown<\/strong><\/a> shed tears over her fractured bond with Christine Brown<\/strong><\/a> on the latest episode of Sister Wives<\/em><\/a> \u2014 but Christine isn\u2019t interested in a friendship.<\/p>\n

Robyn, 44, got emotional during the Sunday, September 17, episode while discussing the plural family\u2019s division<\/a> after Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s split from Christine, 51. \u201cI always thought that [Christine] would eventually open herself to a relationship with me, you know, figure that stuff out. \u2026 I tried very hard to be kind with her,\u201d Robyn told Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a confessional, Robyn claimed that she \u201cwas constantly holding out an olive branch to Christine\u201d before the former couple\u2019s separation. \u201c[I was] constantly wanting the relationship, constantly trying to ask her, like, \u2018What can I do?\u2019 And all [Christine] ever told me was, \u2018I\u2019m just jealous of you,’\u201d she alleged.<\/p>\n

Robyn remembered there being \u201cso many times\u201d over the years<\/a> that she had fun with Christine. \u201cI feel like we really did have the potential<\/a> of just having a great relationship. And I just never understood why we couldn\u2019t,\u201d she added as she welled up with tears. \u201cI just don\u2019t know how to come to terms with the heartbreak of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKody Brown\u2019s relationships with Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn Brown have all had their ups and downs \u2014 but many Sister Wives viewers were shocked when nearly all his wives started to leave him. TLC fans were introduced to the Brown family in 2010 when he was legally married to Meri and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The camera then cut Christine, who shared a slightly different perspective. \u201cIf it bothered her that she didn\u2019t have a relationship with me, she should\u2019ve said, \u2018Hey, why don\u2019t we have a relationship? Can we be friends?’\u201d she said in her own confessional. \u201cBut I want you to know, I would\u2019ve rejected her friendship anyway. To be completely honest.\u201d<\/p>\n

She doubled down, adding, \u201cIf Robyn approached me and wanted to be friends, I would\u2019ve not been friends still. Because I couldn\u2019t trust her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tChristine Brown\u2018s split from now-ex Kody Brown came as a shock to Sister Wives viewers. \u201cAfter more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,\u201d Christine wrote in November 2021. \u201cWe will continue to be a strong presence in each other\u2019s lives as we [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When Christine began her spiritual marriage<\/a> to Kody, 54, in 1994, he was already legally married to Meri, 52, and in another spiritual union with Janelle Brown<\/strong><\/a>. Robyn joined the family in 2010, but Kody shook up the dynamic<\/a> in 2014 by divorcing Meri and lawfully marrying Robyn. (Both Meri and Janelle broke up with Kody after Christine led the charge.)<\/p>\n

Since its premiere last month, fans have seen Janelle\u2019s relationship with Kody<\/a> splinter on season 18 of Sister Wives<\/em>. On Sunday\u2019s episode, Christine attempted to convince Janelle to move back to Utah with her. The women \u2014 who have remained close friends<\/a> since their respective splits from Kody \u2014 also discussed their ex\u2019s desire for them to be \u201cbetter sister wives\u201d to Robyn.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry, plural marriage doesn\u2019t require that you\u2019re always best friends with your sister wife. So I think we need to get over this,\u201d Janelle said while chatting with Christine after the holidays.<\/p>\n

Christine proceeded to get heated about the topic in a confessional interview. \u201cI was a great sister wife to Janelle. Meri? Not so much, but I don\u2019t think [Kody] cares about Meri,\u201d she said. \u201cHe\u2019s basically saying, \u2018Because you\u2019re not the best sister wife to Robyn, I\u2019m not interested in having a relationship with you.’\u201d<\/p>\n

She implied that Kody was being hypocritical<\/a>, claiming, \u201cWho had a great relationship with Robyn for years, yet he wasn\u2019t attracted to her? Oh yeah, that\u2019d be Meri. He\u2019s full of s\u2013t, I\u2019m sorry. That\u2019s ridiculous.\u201d<\/p>\n
