Single and ready to mingle! Michael B. Jordan <\/strong><\/a>opened up about his split from Lori Harvey<\/strong><\/a> for the first time during his Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/i>\u00a0<\/span>hosting\u00a0<\/span>debut.<\/p>\n \u201c20 years [after my first acting gig on\u00a0All My Children<\/i><\/a>], I just directed my very first movie<\/a>,\u00a0Creed III<\/i>. But, right after that I went through my very first public breakup<\/a>,\u201d the\u00a0Fruitvale Station\u00a0<\/i>actor, 35, said\u00a0during his Saturday, January 28,\u00a0monologue, referring to the model, 25. \u201cNow, most people after a breakup are like, \u2018I\u2019m gonna get in better shape.\u2019 But, I was already in\u00a0Creed\u00a0<\/i>shape! So, I had to be like, \u2018Alright, I guess I\u2019ll learn a new language.\u2019 Anyway, estoy en Raya<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cAfter the breakup, everyone thought I was so heartbroken because when the news came out, I was at a basketball game and they caught me looking [disappointed]. Look, I was just chilling but the Internet decided that was me being sad. Lucky for me, if you Google \u2018Sad Michael Jordan<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 the first 8,000 results are [of the basketball star crying].\u201d<\/p>\n Us Weekly\u00a0<\/i>previously confirmed in June 2022 that the\u00a0All My Children\u00a0<\/i>alum and Harvey had split after more than one year together<\/a>. While the SKN by LH founder has been candid about the breakup before moving on with Damson Idris<\/strong><\/a>, Jordan remained quiet after deleting her pics from his Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Without Remorse\u00a0<\/i>star\u2019s single status quickly turned heads on the\u00a0SNL\u00a0<\/i>set with cast members Chloe Fineman<\/strong><\/a>, Heidi Gardner<\/strong><\/a>, Ego Nwodim<\/strong><\/a> and Punkie Johnson<\/strong><\/a> all interrupting his monologue to shoot their shot about a potential fling<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHey, Michael, I didn\u2019t even know you were out here. I was just taking a walk around the studio, and I just threw this on,\u201d Nwodim, 34, nonchalantly said on Saturday, referring to the bridal gown and veil that she wore<\/a>. \u201cOh my God, is this a wedding dress? I guess we could technically get married now then, huh?\u201d<\/p>\n After Jordan \u2014 who was joined on the show by musical guest Lil Baby<\/strong> \u2014 informed her \u201cthat\u2019s not how\u201d marriage works, the comic had other ideas in mind.<\/p>\n \u201cOh, our first fight. Should we have make-up sex?\u201d Nwodim eagerly added.<\/p>\n Before stepping on the NBC stage on Saturday, the Black Panther II: Wakanda Forever<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>star jokingly struggled to shed his\u00a0Creed\u00a0<\/i>boxing training<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s muscle memory,\u201d Jordan joked in his\u00a0SNL\u00a0<\/i>promo<\/a> after stage-punching cast member<\/a> Marcello Hernandez<\/strong> in the nose\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<\/span>twice. \u201cYeah, it\u2019s broken.\u201d<\/p>\n Hernandez, 25, who joined\u00a0SNL<\/i>\u00a0earlier this season<\/a>, was terrified because he \u201ccan\u2019t have a broken nose.\u201d<\/a> He explained: \u201cI\u2019m known for my looks, not my talent.\u201d<\/p>\n Jordan responded: \u201cI know how that feels. We\u2019re good though, right?\u201d<\/p>\n After the comedian assured the\u00a0Black Panther\u00a0<\/i>star<\/a> that they were cool, and the human resources department did not need to know, Jordan was disappointed in himself. \u201cDon\u2019t ever embarrass me like that again,\u201d he quipped to his fist.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Friday Night Lights<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>alum \u2014 who plays boxer Adonis Creed in the\u00a0Creed\u00a0<\/i>film franchise<\/a> \u2014 has an impressive workout regimen<\/a> to stay in shape for the\u00a0Rocky\u00a0<\/i>spinoffs and other projects.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s his ability to not quit and push harder<\/a>. A lot of people who [are] under the stress of getting ready for movies have to deal with day-to-day life and businesses,\u201d personal trainer Corey Calliet<\/strong> exclusively told\u00a0Us Weekly\u00a0<\/i>in April 2021<\/a> of working with the\u00a0Journal for Jordan\u00a0<\/i>actor. \u201cThey have the leisure of not going as hard. Michael is the opposite. When it\u2019s time for us to lock in and get it done, it\u2019s like a machine and he does it all.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued at the time: \u201cHe would come in, it\u2019d be two, three o\u2019clock in the morning, he\u2019d want to go to the gym and train. [It\u2019s] very impressive because you don\u2019t see that all the time when it comes to like different actors. \u2026 We have to do more things that [are] more condition-based, more things cardiovascular style to get him in shape because he only had his shirt off for one scene, so it was mostly important that he can be able to deliver the scenes and look like he needed to look, you know, throughout the movie.\u201d<\/p>\n Jordan\u00a0has since been gearing up for his anticipated\u00a0Creed III\u00a0<\/i>film follow-up<\/a>, which is slated for a theatrical release late this year. The new movie will mark the\u00a0Parenthood\u00a0<\/i>alum\u2019s directorial debut<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the hardest thing I\u2019ve ever done, by far. It\u2019s a learning curve,\u201d he told\u00a0MovieMaker\u00a0<\/i>magazine<\/a> in a cover story published earlier this month. \u201cThis is the first time I\u2019m going through this, so every day I\u2019m learning something new. Every day you\u2019re finding new limits.
