This marks the fourth-largest week for any album in 2023 and Rodrigo\u2019s best opening yet.<\/p>\n<p>Her sophomore album was <a href=\"https:\/\/ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com\/126803685.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">initially expected<\/a> to do between 250-265K, but as the week progressed, <a href=\"https:\/\/ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com\/126813163.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">predictions rose<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For comparison, Liv\u2019s debut album <i>SOUR<\/i> debuted at no. 1 with sales of 295K (72K pure) on the Billboard 200 albums chart in 2021.<\/p>\n<p><b>Here is the full breakdown for GUTS first week:<\/b><br \/>150,000 album sales (94,000 vinyl sales)<br \/>1,000 TEA units<br \/>151,000 SEA units (199.59 million on-demand streams)<\/p>\n<p>Her lead single &#8220;vampire&#8221; is expected to return to the no. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 officially tomorrow. Liv will have the no. 1 song and no. 1 album in the country for the week.<\/p>\n<p>The album also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/entertainment-arts-66824131\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">debuted at no. 1 in the UK<\/a>.  It outsold the rest of the top 10 combined. According to the Official Charts Company, <i>GUTS<\/i> racked up 60,300 chart &#8220;units&#8221;, a figure that combines physical sales with streaming figures.
