Kanye West<\/strong><\/a> is under investigation after a confrontation with a woman who was filming him.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed to E! News<\/em><\/a> on Friday, January 27 that the rapper, 45, is under investigation for battery allegations. They received a call on Friday about an altercation between the \u201cPower\u201d performer and a woman who was filming him. The authorities were provided with video that shows West was involved in a dispute with the woman and seemingly grabbed her phone out of her hand.<\/p>\n West departed the area before the police arrived. A crime report was taken, which will lead to a further investigation, the spokesperson explained.<\/p>\n In video of the incident obtained by TMZ<\/a>, the Yeezy founder was seen approaching a woman in her car while they were at a stoplight. He\u2019d gotten out of his car to speak to her.<\/p>\n \u201cY\u2019all ain\u2019t gonna run up on me like that,\u201d West said.<\/p>\n The woman, who had a small dog in her lap, replied, \u201cI wasn\u2019t running.\u201d<\/p>\n She kept her phone up, getting a close up of West as he demanded, \u201cStop with your cameras.\u201d<\/p>\n The woman said, \u201cI know, but Kanye you\u2019re a celebrity.\u201d Before she finished her sentence, West had grabbed the phone from her hands and threw it into the road.<\/p>\n The incident took place in Thousand Oaks, California, close to the facility where Kanye\u2019s eldest daughter, North, 9, was scheduled to play a basketball game. Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> attended with their son Saint, 6, as well as Tristan Thompson<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n TMZ reports that West returned to his SUV, where his \u201cwife,\u201d Bianca Censori<\/strong><\/a>, was waiting.<\/p>\n The performer and the Yeezy designer<\/a> held what appeared to be a wedding ceremony in early January, a source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a>. \u201cKanye and Bianca did have a small marriage ceremony, friends don\u2019t know if it\u2019s legal, but it\u2019s very real to them,\u201d the insider shared earlier this month.<\/p>\n He shares North, Saint, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 3, with Kardashian, 42.
