Sharna Burgess<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0may not have called out actor\u00a0Jesse Metcalfe<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0by name, but when describing her worst\u00a0Dancing With the Stars<\/i><\/a> celebrity partner, all signs pointed to the\u00a0Desperate Housewives<\/i>\u00a0alum that he felt the need to speak out.<\/p>\n The DWTS<\/em><\/a> pro, 28, described on the debut episode of her new podcast \u201cOldish<\/a>\u201d on Tuesday, September 12, that she had a \u201cpartner that was really difficult\u201d the year following her season 27 Mirrorball trophy will with radio personality Bobby Bones<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>in 2018. Sharna didn\u2019t appear on the following season and returned in 2020 for season 29 with Jesse, 44, as her partner.<\/p>\n \u201cThey had me back the following season and I had a partner that was really difficult \u2014 and not say too much because I don\u2019t want to \u2014 I wasn\u2019t able to be in the room alone with him after the first couple of weeks because of things that happened,\u201d she explained, adding, \u201cThat was rocky and we were eliminated very quickly.\u201d Sharna and Jesse were sent home in week four of the competition.<\/p>\n Jesse\u2019s rep confirmed the feud<\/a> to\u00a0Page Six<\/em><\/a>, saying \u201cIf she is referring to a time where our client Jesse Metcalfe worked with Ms. Burgess four years ago, the only recollection was that they didn\u2019t get along,\u201d continuing, \u201cVague insinuations are not only reckless but also irrelevant.\u201d<\/p>\n The rep added that Sharna was \u201chighly unprofessional\u201d for making \u201cinsinuations just to promote the first episode of her podcast.\u201d<\/p>\n Hinting at difficulties with Jesse wasn\u2019t the only bombshell Sharna dropped during her podcast. She also revealed her shock at not being asked back for the upcoming season 32. She missed the previous season after giving birth to her first child<\/a>, son Zane, whom she shares with boyfriend\u00a0Brian Austin Green<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cLast season I was supposed to come back but Zane was only eight weeks old. And I was speaking with them about it. It just felt like I needed to sit in motherhood with Zane. It was always, \u2018I want to come back next year,\u2019 and \u2018Of course, we love you, we\u2019ll always have you,’\u201d she told listeners.<\/p>\n Even though Sharna has competed on 14 seasons of\u00a0DWTS<\/em>\u00a0since joining the show in 2011, she described how other pros began getting phone calls to return for the new season and found out through the grapevine that all of the pro spots had been filled and that she was not among them. \u201cIt was such a shock, because I wasn\u2019t expecting it, it was tough,\u201d the Australia native explained.<\/p>\n \u201cFor me, two things can be true,\u201d she shared. \u201cI can love the show and be so excited for everyone that got the position to be there, and really thrilled for the people that they have, but I can also be really sad and heartbroken that I don\u2019t get to do that this season.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
