Mira Sorvino<\/strong><\/a> busted out some serious dance moves in 1997\u2019s Romy and Michele\u2019s High School Reunion<\/i><\/a> \u2014 and she\u2019s bringing them with her into the Dancing With the Stars <\/i><\/a>ballroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we started working together, there\u2019s so many ideas,\u201d Gleb Savchenko<\/strong><\/a> exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i>on Wednesday, September 13, of finding out he would be paired with Mira<\/a>, 55, for season 32. \u201cSo like, \u2018Oh, we can create Romy and Michele<\/i> theme and what are we doing for Disney Week<\/a>? What are we doing for Halloween<\/a>?\u2019 All of those creative moments come together and you\u2019re like, \u2018Can\u2019t wait, let\u2019s go.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

While the Oscar winner will be one of the 14 competitors on DWTS <\/i>this season, she notably portrayed Romy White in the 1997 movie opposite Lisa Kudrow<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Michele Weinberger. The film saw the two BFFs r<\/a>eturn to their high school for a class reunion \u2014 and even featured a special performance. Romy and Michele shared a spotlight interpretative dance with Alan Cumming<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Sandy Frink.<\/p>\n

When asked if season 32 will feature a tribute to Romy and Michele\u2019s High School Reunion<\/i><\/a>, Mira pressed that she doesn\u2019t know nor is she \u201cactually allowed to talk about\u201d their dances.<\/p>\n

The Russia native and Mira\u2019s \u2014 whose team name is a play on the mirrorball trophy<\/a> \u2014 ballroom adventures have been a long-held dream of hers.<\/p>\n

I\u2019d love to do that.\u2019 And it was just never really the right time and I never had that much time off between jobs,\u201d the actress told Us<\/i>. \u201cAnd now it was like, \u2018OK, if I\u2019m not going to do it now, when am I going to do it?\u2019 This is sort of a year of taking chances for m<\/a>e because in June I did a residency at the Cafe Carlisle, singing, and I did a one-woman show, and it went well. It was terrifying and it went well. So this is my second challenge of things I have dreamed of doing for a while but hadn\u2019t tackled. And so this is my great adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n

And some days we would just sit and drink coffee and having a chat.\u201d<\/p>\n
