In the year 2023, the Republican Party is lousy with elected officials whose vibe is a combination of \u201cI want to speak to your manger,\u201d \u201cDo you know who am,\u201d \u201cHow dare you suggest I\u2019ve had too many wine coolers,\u201d and \u201cI\u2019m currently appealing the decision to ban me from all peewee football games for harassing the other team.\u201d If that description calls to mind any two lawmakers in particular, it would probably be none other than Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/strong> and Lauren Boebert<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong> And on Sunday, Boebert did her part to show why!<\/p>\n The Denver Post<\/em> reports<\/a> that the Colorado congresswoman was \u201cescorted out of a Sunday night performance of\u00a0the Beetlejuice<\/em> musical\u00a0in downtown Denver,\u201d after being accused by the venue of \u201cvaping, singing, recording\u201d and generally \u201ccausing a disturbance.\u201d\u00a0While an incident report viewed by the Post<\/em> did not name Boebert and her companion, the lawmaker\u2019s campaign confirmed she was escorted from the premises, only denying that she was vaping. The write-up noted that Boebert and her pal initially received a warning during intermission after three complaints from fellow theatergoers; about five minutes into the second act, security officials received \u201canother complaint about the patrons being loud and\u2026recording,\u201d at which time they were apparently asked to leave. But, of course, Boebert did not go willingly.<\/p>\n According to the Post,<\/em> the incident report quotes one of the ushers as saying, \u201cThey told me they would not leave. I told them that they need to leave the theater and if they do not, they will be trespassing. The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would (be) going to get Denver Police. They said go get them.\u201d Can you guess where things went from there?<\/p>\n Denver Arts & Venues on Tuesday night\u00a0released security video\u00a0showing Boebert\u2019s interactions with theater staff as she and her companion were escorted out.
