Theo James<\/strong><\/a>, Dakota Johnson<\/strong> <\/a>and more actors have opened up about their nude scenes<\/a> \u2014 and broke down the experience of going full frontal.<\/p>\n The England native raised eyebrows with his performance as Cameron during season 2 of The White Lotus<\/em><\/a>. The hit HBO series, which returned for its second run in October 2022, focuses on the guests and employees at a fictional resort.<\/a><\/p>\n In a memorable scene from the sophomore season, Harper (Aubrey Plaza<\/strong><\/a>) accidentally snuck a peek at Cameron (James) while he undressed<\/a>. At the time, the Divergent<\/em> actor discussed the work that went into bringing the NSFW moment to life.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThe truth of it was you go into these things and you have a conversation with the director and the producers, and they go, \u2018OK, for this, we\u2019re going to use a prosthetic, we\u2019re gonna use something,\u2019\u201d he explained during a December 2022 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s a pee-pee prosthetic.\u201d<\/p>\n For the Golden Boy<\/em> star, it was important that the prosthetic wouldn\u2019t be too \u201cdistracting\u201d<\/a> for the audience. \u201cHe needs to be [a] regular Joe because the scene\u2019s not about the pee-pee, it\u2019s about power play in sex [and] whether he did it deliberately or whether it was an accident,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n James joked about his reaction after watching the scene<\/a> for the first time, saying, \u201cI mean, it\u2019s bigger than that. It\u2019s like she stole it off a donkey in the field. The thing is ginormous.\u201d<\/p>\n Johnson, for her part, has also been candid about playing Anastasia in the film version of E. L. James<\/strong>\u2018 50 Shades of Grey<\/em> trilogy.<\/a> Amid its release, the movies made headlines for its explicit sex scenes.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s stressful enough to be tied to a bed naked in a scene,\u201d the actress revealed to Glamour<\/em> in 2015 about filming the sex scenes. \u201cBut then they call cut, and you\u2019re still tied to the bed, naked. Jamie [Dornan]<\/strong><\/a> would be the first one to throw a blanket over me.\u201d<\/p>\n According to BAFTA nominee, the worst part was the idea of her parents, Don Johnson<\/strong><\/a> and Melanie Griffith<\/strong><\/a>, seeing her naked on screen. \u201cMy mom came up for a day [during filming]. She\u2019s proud of me,\u201d Dakota detailed. \u201cBut I don\u2019t want my family to see [the movie], because it\u2019s inappropriate. Or my brothers\u2019 friends, who I grew up with. I think they\u2019d be like, \u2018Blegh.\u2019 Also there\u2019s part of me that\u2019s like, I don\u2019t want anyone to see this movie. Just kidding.\u201d<\/p>\n The Social Network<\/em> star later admitted that she was tired of filming racy sex scenes for the franchise<\/a>, telling Interview<\/em> magazine in 2016, \u201cWell, we\u2019re not having actual sex.
