Mohbad is dead. Sad, sad day. R.I.P. (broken heart emoji.)\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\nThe singer was renowned for his baritone and songs including \u2018Ask About Me\u2019, \u2018Pariwo\u2019 and \u2018Peace\u2019. <\/p>\n<p>\nJoey Akan, founder of Afrobeats Intelligence, said on X: \u201cLast time I saw Mohbad, we were in an apartment, a recording camp working on song selection for his last EP. <\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cMan gave me a weird sweet red wine, and we had a little good-natured argument over the final songs to make the project and the length of the EP.
