Taylor Swift<\/b><\/a><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Selena Gomez<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0formed\u00a0a strong friendship that has lasted more than a decade<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Swift and Gomez originally crossed paths in 2008 on a double date with\u00a0Joe Jonas<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Nick Jonas<\/b><\/span><\/a>, respectively.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe actually dated the Jonas Brothers together! It was hysterical,\u201d\u00a0Gomez recalled<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>during a\u00a02017<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>radio interview. \u201cIt was amazing, because [Taylor] was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neither Swift nor Gomez found lasting love with Joe or Nick, respectively, but they found a supportive best friend in each other. The two women frequently hype up one another\u2019s career achievements and shut down any trolls or feuds that they may face.<\/p>\n
