The shock jock, 69, who has been married to his 51-year-old second spouse Beth Ostrosky since 2008, admitted he is far more worried over the fresh mutation of the virus sweeping the world than her, and admitted a bust-up erupted over his \u201cneurotic\u201d nature.<\/p>\n
He said on his SiriusXM show when a caller asked if he thought it was risky to return to the studio for his show amid the new warnings about the new Covid strain: \u201cI\u2019m going crazy with this. My wife yelled at me last night. We got into a fight.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know how paranoid I am about getting Covid. I haven\u2019t gotten it, and I\u2019m pretty safe, and I really don\u2019t want to get it.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added he hated people lecturing him on lightening up about the disease as he is older and more prone to its serious effects.<\/p>\n
\nHoward ranted: \u201cEveryone goes, \u2018Don\u2019t worry, it\u2019s just a cold for me.\u2019 It\u2019ll probably be way worse. You know what I mean? I mean, I\u2019m the lucky one who will completely fall apart.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cYou know, my wife\u2019s considerably younger than me, as you might have heard. And you know, she\u2019s not as concerned about getting Covid as I am, because, you know, I\u2019m an older dude.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBeth has a bunch of plans. She has like a wedding shower to go to and lunch to go to with a friend and a dinner and a blahblahblahblahblah.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo, you know, we\u2019re really making an effort. We go out to restaurants. We went to the Ed Sheeran concert. We\u2019ve really been out there. I haven\u2019t gotten Covid. And I\u2019m like, \u2018You know what? If I get it, I get it.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThen all of a sudden they announce there\u2019s a new strain of Covid and it\u2019s on the rise. And, you know, people are being hospitalised: \u2018It\u2019s time to go back down into lockdown.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd I\u2019m like, you mean I\u2019m just emerging, and now I\u2019m going back into lockdown?!<\/p>\n
\n\u201c(Beth) goes, \u2018That\u2019s what you do. Every time I say I\u2019m going to do something, you bring up Covid.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201c(I say to her) \u2018I\u2019m just telling you, I\u2019m scared.\u2019 Am I wrong?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHoward went on he said sorry to Beth after their argument, adding: \u201c(I said) \u2018 I\u2019m just expressing my fear to you, and I\u2019m scared.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt makes me nervous. I\u2019m neurotic. Listen, I have a lot of issues. I\u2019m a neurotic\u2026 I make a ton of problems.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
