\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Ed Sheeran<\/strong><\/a> is confirming a new report that explained the reason behind the last minute cancellation of his Las Vegas concert, which is now postponed until next month.<\/p>\n The 32-year-old singer was supposed to perform a show at Las Vegas\u2019 Allegiant Stadium on Saturday night (September 9), but announced the show wasn\u2019t happening just hours before<\/a> it was scheduled to begin.<\/p>\n The show has been pushed to October 28 and now we know why the show was canceled in the first place.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Ed<\/strong> took to his Instagram <\/a>account on Sunday to share The Sun<\/a><\/em>\u2018s report about what happened.<\/p>\n The outlet revealed that Ed<\/strong>\u2018s \u201cteam were bringing their gear in ahead of soundcheck when a flooring problem was flagged. Rubber tiling had become unstuck \u2014 causing two tall towers to slip overnight by about a foot each. Engineers tore the rig apart and reinforced the towers but both were still found to be shifting.\u201d<\/p>\n Ed <\/strong>also further explained the cancellation in his post.<\/p>\n \u201cA little bit more context on the cancellation yesterday. It was a safety issue, and we really tried to do the best we could to make the show happen but I\u2019m not gonna risk the safety of my fans for anything. I really am gutted, this was very much out of my control but I do take full responsibility for everyone that was put out from the cancellation. Of course refunds are available at point of purchase, and there is a rescheduled show October the 28th if people still want to come, I promise it will be special. Nothing will take away from the effort people went to to get to vegas though and I\u2019m sorry it wasn\u2019t communicated sooner to the people waiting outside. We really thought the show was going to happen up until the very last moment but it just couldn\u2019t for safety reasons.
