After Tyler Stanaland<\/strong><\/a> filed for divorce in between seasons of Selling the OC<\/em><\/a>, fans were anxiously waiting to see whether he had moved on with costar Alex Hall<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Throughout the second installment of the Netflix series, Tyler, 34, and Alex, 35, fielded questions about their chemistry but denied that they were dating following his split<\/a> from Brittany Snow<\/strong><\/a>. In the season 2 finale, however, the real estate agents gave in and made out in a hot tub.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we\u2019re still navigating our friendship. Obviously, you see in season 2 [that] we explore some things. It leads to a steamy moment and I think we\u2019re still kind of trying to figure it out, but we remain really close friends and I don\u2019t have an answer [on where we stand] for you at the moment,\u201d Tyler exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in a joint interview with Alex and their costars ahead of the Friday, September 8, premiere.<\/p>\n

While Alex teased that viewers \u201chave to stick around [for] season 3\u201d \u2014 the show was renewed earlier this year for seasons 2 and 3 \u2014 to find out what happened after their makeout, she admitted that she was nervous to cross the line with Tyler.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see throughout season 2 the dynamic of our friendship, and it\u2019s easy and it\u2019s comfortable because there it is, just that. It\u2019s a friendship,\u201d Alex told Us<\/em>. \u201cThere\u2019s no strings attached and I think adding that other element is scary. \u2026 Some things are awkward, you know what I mean? And you can\u2019t avoid it. So we\u2019re just navigating.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyler agreed. \u201cIt\u2019s both a blessing and a curse to explore a relationship that starts out as a friendship,\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of things that come with it and there\u2019s a lot more at stake as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Costar Polly Brindle<\/strong>, meanwhile, wasn\u2019t surprised that her fellow Oppenheim Group agents felt compelled to kiss.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018Come on, guys, this is going to happen.\u2019 You can feel it building up. It\u2019s kind of like the Ross and the Rachel of the office,\u201d Polly told Us<\/em>, referring to the Friends<\/em> couple. \u201cI was all for it!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe cast of Selling the OC turned heads for their complicated \u2014 and very flirty \u2014 office relationships during season 1, and the drama is still going strong. Tyler Stanaland\u2019s intimate friendships with Alexandra \u201cAlex\u201d Hall and Polly Brindle, for example, raised some eyebrows\u00a0when the show premiered in August 2022, as Tyler was married to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Both Alex and Polly denied having inappropriate relationships with Tyler after season 1 of Selling the OC<\/em> documented the casemates\u2019 flirty outings, including an infamous beach trip complete with \u201cnoseys.\u201d<\/a> While Tyler told Us<\/em> after the show debuted in August 2022 that Snow \u201cwatched\u201d the series<\/a> and thought it was \u201centertaining,\u201d the spouses announced their split<\/a> the following month.<\/p>\n
