Country music star Zach Bryan<\/a><\/strong> was arrested Thursday (Sep. 07, 2023) in northeastern Oklahoma.<\/p>\n

Records show that Bryan, from Oologah, was arrested for obstruction of an investigation complaint in Craig County. He was booked into jail around 6:45 p.m. No charges have been filed.<\/p>\n

Per CNN<\/a>, It is unclear what an obstruction of investigation violation refers to in this case. Oklahoma law says it\u2019s a misdemeanor when someone \u201cwillfully delays or obstructs any public officer in the discharge or attempt to discharge any duty of his or her office.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bryan released a statement on social media, saying he had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and emotions got high. In the statement, Bryan apologized to the trooper.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said,\u201d Bryan posted. \u201cI support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I\u2019m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Law enforcement officials have not released the circumstances surrounding Bryan\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n

The arrest comes shortly after Bryan announced that he would embark on a stadium and arena tour this spring.<\/p>\n
