Amid the WGA and SAG strikes<\/a>, the fall TV schedule is in for a shakeup with both new and returning shows.<\/a><\/p>\n Hulu\u2019s The Other Black Girl<\/em> explores Nella\u2019s (Sinclair Daniel<\/strong>) journey as the only Black woman at a New York City publishing firm. She gets excited when Hazel (Ashleigh Murray<\/strong>) arrives before quickly starting to question the newcomer\u2019s intentions following several strange occurrences.<\/p>\n Murray previously discussed her interest in exploring different roles<\/a> after playing a high school student on The CW\u2019s Riverdale<\/em><\/a> and Katy Keene<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s so wonderful because I\u2019ve always been a very mature person, even in my youth and it\u2019s nice to be able to finally step and walk in that same maturity,\u201d the actress told Us Weekly<\/em> and other reporters while promoting her TV series Tom Swift<\/em><\/a> in May 2022. \u201cIt feels good to feel like a woman, to be received as a woman and to be respected as a woman.
