The \u201821 Grams\u2019 actress, 54, got hitched to \u2018Watchmen\u2019 star Billy, 55, on 9 June in a low-key ceremony and Naomi said despite them now enjoying great romps, she was crippled by nerves when they started dating as she thought her patches would be a turn off for the actor. <\/p>\n
She said at an event called \u2018Unlocking Intimacy: Navigating Passion in Midlife\u2019 held in the Canoe Place Inn and Cottages in Hampton Bays on Thursday (31.08.23): \u201cIf you can talk to your partner, if you can be honest and have a really authentic conversation and take away the awkwardness\u2026 they will be empathetic and that\u2019s hot. <\/p>\n
\u201cI was nervous that my new lover was going to see (my menopause oestrogen patches.) <\/p>\n
\u201cI went into the bathroom just before it would start and I\u2019d be in there (scrubbing it off) and then I\u2019d come out. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd my gorgeous partner said, \u2018Are you OK? Is everything OK?\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n
\nNaomi went through menopause when she was in her 30s, and went on to credit Billy for knowing \u201chow to behave\u201d once she \u201cbrought honesty into the room despite how awkward and hard\u201d it felt talking about the impact of her condition. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cHe knew what cues to follow. He was 100 per cent empathetic and I can safely say we went on to have, you know, pretty great sex that night.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nNaomi also said it was important for her to keep \u201cleaning into\u201d her current phase of life, and acknowledge \u201ca lot of women are horny at this age\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nWhen asked at the event what her favourite sex position is, Naomi said: \u201cOn top, underneath! Right now I\u2019m not fussy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
