I love her.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\nShe is also credited with having inspired Marvel\u2019s \u2018Elektra\u2019 assassin character. <\/p>\n<p>\nLisa\u2019s October 1980 Playboy cover made her one of the first bodybuilders photographed for the title. <\/p>\n<p>\nDue to being a female figurehead in bodybuilding, she was admitted into the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Hall of Fame in 2000. <\/p>\n<p>\nLisa also posed for famed late photographer Robert Mapplethorpe whose subjects included Pop Art icon Andy Warhol. <\/p>\n<p>\nHe went on to produce a book on her called \u2018Lady Lisa Lyon\u2019. <\/p>\n<p>\nHer acting career saw her star in \u2018Three Crowns of the Sailor\u2019, \u2018Getting Physical\u2019 and \u2018Vamp\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/celebrity\/former-playboy-model-lisa-lyon-who-inspired-marvels-elektra-battling-pancreatic-cancer-hospice-1384763.html?f=rss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>4 September 2023 Former Playboy model and bodybuilding icon Lisa Lyon is in a hospice fighting pancreatic cancer.
