We\u2019ve been together for five years \u2013 it\u2019s a wonderful relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nThe 42-year-old actor has just written his first children\u2019s book, which is titled \u2018The Secret Society of Aunts and Uncles\u2019 and is inspired by the time he spends with Ramona, 16, and 11-year-old Gloria, Maggie&#8217;s children with husband Peter Sarsgaard.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe said about loving having spontaneous fun with the two girls: \u201cIf they want to stay up, we stay up. If they want ice cream before dinner, we do it.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cAnd that\u2019s fun for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nThe &#8216;Brokeback Mountain&#8217; actor added his favourite thing to do with his nieces was cook for them.<\/p>\n<p>\nHe said: \u201cI love to cook, and they think I\u2019m a really good cook, so I play that as much as I can.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cI call up, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Okay, I\u2019m coming over. What do you wat to eat for dinner? I\u2019ll cook anything you want, I\u2019m your personal chef.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cBecause we\u2019re a big food family, that pretty much catapults me to No1 uncle status \u2013 but I\u2019m their only uncle or aunt, so I win every time.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201cGenerally, it\u2019s a lot of mashed potatoes and pastas. They\u2019re a big fan of the way I cook steak.
