The \u2018Bodyguard\u2019 actor, 68, recently her child support payments for the three kids he shares with his estranged wife Christine Baumgartner, 49, slashed, with a judge ruling he\u2019s now to pay her $63,000 per month, and he has now described the fight as \u201chorrible\u201d. <\/p>\n
He told Access Hollywood following his win: \u201cThis is a horrible place to be, but this is where we\u2019re at. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt feels so bad. We\u2019re talking about somebody I love on the other side. I just can\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
When the outlet asked whether Costner \u201cstill has love\u201d for his estranged wife, he replied: \u201cOf course.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Oscar-winning \u2018Dances with Wolves\u2019 actor stressed that he \u201cwasn\u2019t \u2026 laughing\u201d about their divorce proceedings despite cracking a joke on the stand. <\/p>\n
\nBaumgartner\u2019s attorney had accused Costner of making more money than he previously stated, with him quipping, \u201cWe\u2019ll have to have a treasure hunt to find it.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nHis remarks on Friday marked his first direct admissions about the breakup since Christine filed for divorce in May. <\/p>\n
\nKevin\u2019s court fight over her child support payments saw him claim she was dating his close friend Josh Connor, with whom she holidayed with in July. <\/p>\n
\nHe accused her of receiving $20,000 in cash from the financier. <\/p>\n
\nShe alleged via her lawyer Kevin was \u201cwithholding\u201d evidence of his finances \u2013 an allegation he later denied on the stand. <\/p>\n
\nChristine had filed a request that he pay $175,057 in monthly installments for their sons Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 13, which she later reduced to $161,592. <\/p>\n
\nChristine said luxury living is in the teenagers\u2019 \u201cDNA at this point\u201d as she requested they are treated to lavish holidays and private jet travel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
