Noel Gallagher got annoyed when Adele<\/a> sent an assistant to visit him.<\/p>\n

Noel Gallagher has opened up on his feud with Adele<\/p>\n

The former Oasis rocker recently branded the ‘Hello’ hitmaker’s music as “offensive” and compared her to the late singer Cilla Black<\/a> and has now revealed that his distaste for the singer was sparked by her sending an assistant to give him the opportunity to hang out with her.<\/p>\n

Opening about on his feud, Noel told ‘The Matt Morgan Podcast’: \u201cI don\u2019t think I have ever gone out of my way to start anything, it\u2019s always been a reaction to some f****** idiot having a go in the first place.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know me, I keep myself to myself.”<\/p>\n

When it was pointed out to Noel that Adele<\/a> had never bad-mouthed him, the High Flying Birds frontman said: “No, but she sent someone over to f****** ask, \u2018Did I want to meet her?\u2019. That\u2019s what riled me.<\/p>\n

\n“I\u2019m not one for causing a scene, I just stick it in the vault and just think revenge is a dish best served cold.”<\/p>\n

\nNoel is never shy about expressing an opinion – having also clashed with his brother Liam Gallagher, Sam Smith and Damon Albarn – and issued a damning assessment of Adele’s music on the same podcast last month.<\/p>\n

\nHe said: “F*** off, f****** hell. Name one?<\/p>\n

\n“They\u2019re f****** s***. It\u2019s f****** awful. It\u2019s f****** Cilla Black.<\/p>\n

\n“I find it and that whole thing offensive.”<\/p>\n

\nHowever, Noel suggested that he could see himself writing songs for the likes of Adele and Lewis Capaldi in the future.<\/p>\n

\nThe 56-year-old musician said: “If I fall out of love with touring, I could see myself just sitting at home writing songs and sending them to my publishers. I might in the future.<\/p>\n

\n“I\u2019ll be saying, \u2018Get Adele to sing that. Don\u2019t call until she\u2019s done the guide vocal.’<\/p>\n

\n“I want Lewis Capaldi to murder this song, I want him to s*** on it from a great height. Make me rich.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
