The Hills<\/span><\/i> star Whitney Port<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s husband, Tim Rosenman<\/strong><\/a>, has provided some clarification regarding his concern for his wife\u2019s weight<\/a> \u2014 although he admitted that his stance, which includes the opinion that she would look \u201chotter with 10 more pounds,\u201d might make him look bad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n During the Tuesday, August 29 episode of <\/span>Whitney\u2019s podcast, \u201cWith Whit<\/span><\/a>,\u201d Tim, 46, and his wife discussed the recent speculation about Whitney\u2019s weight, which began in July when the reality star, 38, admitted that Tim had \u201cbeen worried\u201d about her looking \u201ctoo thin.\u201d Tim clarified on the podcast that he thought Whitney was \u201ctoo thin from an aesthetic point of view\u201d and thought she could \u201cbe hotter.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Tim then admitted that this explanation might \u201copen [him] up to being an a\u2013hole.\u201d However, he doubled down, noting that he \u201cpersonally prefer[s her] with another 10 to 15 pounds \u2026 from a looks point of view.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI was concerned that you could be hotter with 10 or 15 more pounds, and maybe that\u2019s f\u2013ked up,\u201d the film producer later added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Whitney agreed that she was unhappy with her appearance \u201caesthetically,\u201d blaming her \u201cripped-up esophagus\u201d for making her sick and causing drastic weight loss. \u201cSince then, I think I have just not put it back on,\u201d she continued.<\/span><\/p>\n Tim, who married Whitney in 2015 and shares a 6-year-old son named Sonny with her, later admitted that he was \u201cnot worried about [her] health\u201d because he has \u201cintimate knowledge\u201d about her \u201corgan functions and cholesterol levels\u201d and knows she is healthy. However, he added that he was concerned about Whitney having a \u201cstrained relationship with food, with appearance [and] with being in the public eye.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Whitney first addressed the weight concerns<\/a> in a July 24 Instagram Story. \u201cI\u2019ve gotten a lot of comments about looking too thin. At first, it didn\u2019t bother me. I chalked it up to people not knowing what my diet looks like,\u201d she wrote. \u201cBut Timmy brought it to my attention, as a good husband should, and said it\u2019s not just something strangers are spewing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The former MTV star admitted that she\u2019s not \u201cconsciously thinking about\u201d her weight and blamed the weight loss on being \u201ctoo lazy to make feeding myself a priority or I\u2019m too picky when it comes to taste and quality.\u201d She also promised to make her health \u201ca priority\u201d in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n As the speculation surrounding Whitney\u2019s weight continued the following week, she brought up the subject on her podcast, revealing that she is in the process of finding a nutritionist. She also said she does not think she has an eating disorder but rather a type of \u201cdisordered eating\u201d where she lets herself go hungry. \u201cThat\u2019s not OK, that\u2019s not healthy,\u201d Whitney added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She shared another update on August 3, revealing in an Instagram Story that she <\/span>visited a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m obviously working on understanding my relationship with food so I can be the healthiest version of myself,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI want to build muscle and be strong for my bones and I fully commit to focusing on my personal health, but having more ice cream than usual doesn\u2019t suck either.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
