Ant Anstead<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and ex-wife\u00a0Christina Hall<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0entered a sudden custody battle over their son, Hudson, nearly two years after the former couple split<\/a>. Eight months after Ant made some shocking claims<\/a> about his former spouse, the pair settled their custody dispute, Life & Style<\/em> confirmed.<\/p>\n In April 2022, the U.K. native shocked the world when he filed for full custody<\/a> over his and Christina\u2019s son, who was born in 2019, alleging that the former Flip or Flop<\/em><\/a> star wasn\u2019t regularly present in Hudson\u2019s life. At the time, the exes had shared custody over Hudson.<\/p>\n The Wheeler Dealers<\/em>\u00a0cohost claimed that Christina had only spent \u201cnine full days each month\u201d with their son over the course of 20 months, according to\u00a0a filing obtained by TMZ<\/em><\/a>. Not only that, but Ant also alleged that Christina would use Hudson in paid commercial social media posts whenever she was with him. Ant even described an alleged incident when Hudson was brought back to him with a horrible sunburn after spending time with his mom, later crying in pain because of the rash. The\u00a0For the Love of Cars<\/em>\u00a0presenter then claimed that Christina texted him that the burn \u201cdidn\u2019t feel hot\u201d and to \u201cgive [Hudson] some Tylenol. I\u2019m sure it will be better tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n On the heels of the explosive allegations, Christina defended herself in a statement obtained by Life & Style<\/em> that month.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat Ant is doing deeply saddens me,\u201d the real estate investor said on April 28. \u201cIf this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested. I have had my share of ups and downs, but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them.\u201d<\/p>\n Although a California Superior Court judge in Orange County denied Ant\u2019s ex parte application for full custody, Life & Style<\/em> confirmed at the time, a hearing was set for June 28, 2022.<\/p>\n Amid the heated dispute, Christina married<\/a> husband\u00a0Josh Hall<\/strong><\/a> on April 5, 2022, after one year of dating. She also changed her name from Haack to Hall on her realtor\u2019s license, according to a document obtained by Life & Style<\/em> that same day.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Christina on the Coast<\/em> star and Ant started dating in early 2018 and later tied the knot in Newport Beach, California, in December of that year. They welcomed Hudson in September 2019, but they announced they called it quits<\/a> just one year later.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority,\u201d Christina wrote<\/a> via Instagram in September 2020.<\/p>\n Shortly afterward, Ant broke his silence<\/a> on the matter only hours after Christina announced their separation, citing the split as his ex-wife\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n \u201cAnyone who really knows me knows that I don\u2019t like to share private matters publicly,\u201d he captioned a black-and-white picture of the former lovebirds at the time. \u201cI have remained silent while holding on to hope.
