Eli Manning<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s brother Peyton Manning<\/strong><\/a> may have emerged victorious all three times they competed against each other as NFL quarterbacks, but the New York Giants alum thinks the tides may have turned since then.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I] could take him now. I think I have a good shot,\u201d Eli, 42, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> earlier this month while promoting his partnership with Corona Extra for its Fine Life Playbook campaign. \u201cHe\u2019s been retired for, like, eight years. I think I could take him now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eli and Peyton, 47, who announced their retirements<\/a> from the NFL in 2020 and 2016, respectively, went head to head during games in 2006, 2010 and 2013. Although the brothers never played in a Super Bowl together<\/a>, their three encounters have been dubbed the \u201cManning Bowl\u201d by fans.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tEli Manning has always had a passion for football, but fatherhood is his No. 1 priority after welcoming four kids with wife Abby McGrew. The college sweethearts, who tied the knot in 2008, share three daughters, Ava, Lucy and Caroline, and one son, Charlie. Nearly one year after his son\u2019s birth, the former New York [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Although viewers relished when the brothers faced off, Eli told Us<\/em> that there was never too much sibling rivalry between the pair. \u201cWe were always rooting for one another. I think the fact that he\u2019s five years older than me [helped]. We never really competed that much growing up,\u201d he said. \u201cWe were never in high school together. We never played against opposing teams growing up. So, it wasn\u2019t until the NFL that we actually played our first competitions against each other, and we played three games against each other. \u2026 So it\u2019s really more of a support relationship<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The athlete added that he tried to \u201cenjoy just how unique it was\u201d to play against his brother rather than stress about who would win.<\/p>\n

\u201cI tried to just have fun with it,\u201d he said. \u201cDuring the national anthem<\/a>, I\u2019m looking over at the other sideline and I see my big brother. \u2026 So, it was very special. I think it was stressful for my parents but it was a pretty neat moment when I look back on it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The athlete is now helping fans adopt a similar laidback attitude to football by teaming up with Corona Extra to coach fans on how to live the fine life. From August 28 to November 27, Eli will be accepting submissions for the Fine Life Playbook, a digital roundup of lighthearted activities that fans can do to savor game time viewing.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I\u2019m] excited to be a part of team Fine Life. Being a sports fan<\/a> can be stressful \u2026 but with a Corona, sports fans [can be] a little bit different. It\u2019s more relaxed,\u201d Eli told Us<\/em> of the partnership, adding that it\u2019s nice to enjoy football as a fan rather than an active participant.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a player, it\u2019s so stressful,\u201d he said. \u201cNow, as just a fan of sports, you can watch a game, you can have a Corona. Win or lose, it doesn\u2019t make a big difference, doesn\u2019t ruin the day. You just have a great appreciation of the game [and] of the sport but a more casual attitude of the final outcome.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former professional football players both became fathers in the same month. Eli and his wife, Abby McGrew, welcomed daughter Ava on March 21, 2011, while Peyton and his wife Ashley Thompson\u2019s twins, Marshal [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As for what constitutes a fine life in Eli\u2019s book, he said \u201cjust being with friends and being with family.\u201d The Louisiana native shares four kids<\/a> with wife Abby McGrew<\/strong><\/a>: daughters Ava, 12, Lucy, 10, and Caroline, 8, and son Charlie, 4.<\/p>\n
