Every couple on season 2 of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On<\/em><\/a>\u00a0walked away with their original partner \u2014 but some engagements were more shocking than others.<\/p>\n

Roxanne Kaiser<\/strong> exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively that she was taken aback when she learned Alex Chapman<\/strong> proposed to Kat Shelton<\/strong> after Roxanne spent three weeks with Alex in a trial marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say truthfully, [I was] very surprised she said yes,\u201d Roxanne told Us. \u201cBut I don\u2019t know the depths of their relationship. I [didn\u2019t] know them before the show. I only know them on the show. There\u2019s a reason why she said yes, and I do think she found her voice while on the show and she was speaking up for herself a lot. And she wouldn\u2019t have said yes if she didn\u2019t mean it. So I am happy for her. I was surprised [though] I will not lie about that. But I\u2019m assuming they\u2019re very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roxanne\u2019s OG partner, Antonio Mattei<\/strong> \u2014 who had his own trial marriage with Kat \u2014 wasn\u2019t as surprised.<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew she loved him. I always felt that it was just up to him,\u201d Antonio told Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

While Roxanne and Antonio also got engaged during the finale, which started streaming on Wednesday, August 30, they aren\u2019t quite as far along with wedding plans as Kat and Alex (who are set to exchange vows on May 10, 2024).<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s tough, but we\u2019re getting there,\u201d Roxanne said on the reunion, making it clear that she is still the financial \u201cprovider\u201d in their relationship.<\/p>\n

She went on to confirm that she isn\u2019t wearing her engagement ring \u2014 despite how that makes Antonio feel.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t understand it, kind of like I didn\u2019t understand the whole wedding thing,\u201d Roxanne said. \u201cI don\u2019t get why I have to wear one and he doesn\u2019t. It feels very possessive.\u201d<\/p>\n
