It didn\u2019t take long for Millie Bobby Brown<\/strong><\/a> to realize fianc\u00e9 Jake Bongiovi<\/strong> <\/a>was The One.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI was interested in him and wanted to know more,\u201d Brown, 19, told The Sunday Times<\/em><\/a> on Sunday, August 27, of the couple\u2019s first conversation, which occurred via Instagram. \u201cAs soon as we spoke I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life. After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other\u2019s side.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown added that while it\u2019s hard to \u201cpinpoint\u201d how she knows the 21-year-old is her perfect match, she has no doubts. \u201cIt\u2019s just the feeling of knowing that that\u2019s the person you want to spend the rest of your life with,\u201d she explained. \u201cI think so much of life is overthinking. The one thing that made clear sense to me was him.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Brown and Bongiovi \u2014 who is the son of singer Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong> <\/a>\u2014 were together for nearly two years before announcing their engagement in April. \u201cI\u2019ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want \u2018em all,\u201d the Stranger Things<\/em><\/a> star wrote via Instagram at the time, quoting Taylor Swift\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> \u201cLover\u201d and showing off her new diamond sparkler.<\/p>\n

Brown, who gushed that her parents \u201cadore\u201d her fianc\u00e9, noted that both she and Bonjiovi come from couples \u201cthat have stayed together for a real long time\u201d and given them great examples of what a healthy marriage looks like.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The rocker, who married wife Dorothea Hurley<\/strong> in April 1989<\/a>, added that he\u2019s not concerned about their age despite the pair being in their early 20s.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if age matters if you find the right partner and you grow together,\u201d he said. \u201cThat would be my advice: Growing together is wise. So, I think all my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with<\/a>, and we like them all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown and Bongiovi first sparked dating speculation in June 2021 when the pair appeared on each other\u2019s respective social media pages. They later went Instagram official in November of that year and continued to share relationship milestones via Instagram before making their red carpet debut at the BAFTA\u2019s in March 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
