\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Simone Biles<\/strong><\/a> is still making history!<\/p>\n The 26-year-old athlete was crowned the 2023 All-Around champion during the 2023 U.S. Gymnastics Championships <\/em>held at SAP Center on Sunday (August 27) in San Jose, Calif,.<\/p>\n This marks the 8th time that Simone <\/strong>has earned the title, breaking even more records in the sport.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been doing it for so long, I feel like I don\u2019t think about numbers,\u201d she told NBC Sports about the fete. \u201cI think about my performance. I think overall, I hit 8 for 8 (clean events). So eight, I guess it\u2019s a lucky number this year.\u201d<\/p>\n Simone<\/strong>\u2018s 8th national title broke a previous record that was set in 1933, and also became the oldest woman to win at the championships.<\/p>\n While she still hasn\u2019t made a decision on the 2024 Paris Olympics<\/em>, Simone <\/strong>is focused on her goals.<\/p>\n \u201cI like to keep them personal, just so that I know what I\u2019m aiming for. I think it\u2019s better that way,\u201d she shared. \u201cI\u2019m trying to move a little bit differently this year than I have in the past.
