Jack Antonoff<\/strong> <\/a>has something to say about Scooter Braun<\/strong><\/a>, who\u2019s had bad blood with his BFF Taylor Swift<\/strong> <\/a>for years, amid the manager losing many of his superstar clients<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Antonoff, 39, reshared a \u201cSims\u201d meme via his Instagram Story on Sunday, August 27. The quote read, \u201cNot now sweetie, mommy is trying to figure out why Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a>, Demi Lovato<\/strong><\/a> and Idina Menzel<\/strong><\/a> just fired Scooter Braun as their manager.\u201d In the pic, the computer character stared intently at their computer while a baby erupted into flames on the floor.<\/p>\n

Antonoff included a link to his band Bleachers\u2019 Live at Radio City Music Hall <\/i>LP just below the viral meme. He also uploaded several other photos \u2014 including one of a man\u2019s arm tattoo and a pair of Instagram DMs that told him to \u201ceat s\u2014t\u201d\u00a0 \u2014 to link to specific songs on the record, which dropped on Friday, August 25.<\/p>\n

Neither Antonoff nor Braun, 42, have further addressed the social media posts.<\/p>\n

Braun \u2014 who rose to fame as the talent manager who discovered a teenaged Justin Bieber<\/strong><\/a> on YouTube in the early 2000s \u2014 made headlines earlier this month after multiple reports surfaced that clients Bieber, 29, Grande, 30, Lovato, 31, and Menzel, 52, were seeking new representation.<\/p>\n

A source close to the manager exclusively told<\/span> Us Weekly <\/span><\/i>in August that \u201call of Scooter Braun\u2019s clients are under contract and negotiations have been going on for several months as Scooter steps into his larger role as Hybe America CEO. People are spreading rumors based on what they know, but they are off. Scooter\u2019s team at SB Projects are still handling both Justin and Ariana as they work through what this new structure looks like.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Us<\/i> has since confirmed that Braun is no longer managing<\/a> Grande and Bieber.<\/p>\n

\u201cJustin has officially let Scooter go as his manager,\u201d a second source exclusively told<\/a> Us<\/a> <\/i>on Wednesday, August 23, noting that the Canada native\u2019s wife, Hailey Bieber<\/strong><\/a> (n\u00e9e Baldwin), \u201cled the charge\u201d for the shift. The insider further claimed that Justin has been \u201ctaking meetings with other managers for three years.\u201d<\/p>\n

The drama came to a head in June 2019 when it was announced that Braun\u2019s media company, Ithaca Holdings, had acquired Scott Borchetta\u2019s Big Machine Label Group for $300 million. While Antonoff does not have a personal relationship with Braun, he is a close pal of Swift, 33<\/a>. The Midnights <\/i>singer previously revealed in 2019 that Braun\u2019s $300 million purchase of Big Machine Records<\/a> included her back catalog of music, believed to be worth $140 million. Swift was initially upset that she did not receive the opportunity to purchase her masters\u2019 before Braun\u2019s Ithaca Holdings bought them.<\/p>\n
